Help Pls :(

Hello everyone, I wanted to know how to convert a 3d to 3dc, if you have a way to do this? is there any program that does this? :confused: thanks

Yes, I use it. But I can not convert a 3ds or OBJ files to 3dc for example. the File becomes corrupted

The problem is that 3DC files contain information about bones, which used for rendering animations.
Therefore, it is very difficult to convert files of other formats to 3DC format.
Also .obj files do not contain bones information.

i understand, so i currently do not have a way to convert files created in 3d to 3dc format? or other format in which I can convert it.

ok so i'm clear what you want to do is convert a 3d model from an external source to 3dc?

If that is the case a couple of questions firstly what is the external source? Is it another game like tera or aion?

what kind of item is it? ie, building mobs char?

i work with graphic design and 3d, my idea is to recreate the gamee with new looks. ...but never work with this format .3dc.. :(

I think then with something like 3dMax you can create items and 3d object converter will convert that format to 3dc. 3dc is relatively low poly compared to some of the newer formats. I do a lot of 3d printing so i use 3dmax to convert and it seems to work with a lot of formats. also blender and zbrush are good and can also be converted in 3d object converter. Altho I havent really played with tem as yet

thank u so much for your help. i m going to try a test with some that i've created. ;)

are there other 3d converter besides the 3D Object Converter?that convert to 3dc.
