Within the last months and years you may have noticed that there are more and more servers that only want one thing: money. Those servers come, promising everything, and they disappear from the screen after a while to plan a relaunch or, even worse, to restart under a completely new name.
Things are not getting better which is why we would like to introduce a new section rule. The following should contribute to your protection and should help us all in a certain way.

We do not want to tolerate any longer:
- It is no longer clear who is pulling the strings behind the scenes. There is a lack of transparency.
- Advertising with the help of third parties like "My job is posting the advertisment, I am not part of the team!" which has turned out to be a lie in most cases.
- It is sometimes difficult to identify the accounts of the responsible persons.
Our way to improve the situation:
The following applies to new threads, starting from now on:
- Servers may no longer be advertised by third parties. Friends or other external persons are considered third parties.
- Servers may no longer be advertised by team members who do not have full decision-making power like moderators, game masters, game admins, board admins, developers or community managers. Responsible are those who are pulling the strings.
- Those responsible (mostly server admins or sponsors) need to provide the following information:
Information are collected in the original post.
- account name and join date on elitepvpers
- name (or pseudonym) you are using on your server
- Team members who got promoted to the server admin rank (or higher) need to be listed accordingly. They are considered responsible persons.
- The responsible persons need to be listed even if they have left the team.
- Any advertisement bans will affect all those responsible.
- There are no exceptions. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
- Your thread will be closed once we think something fishy is going on. Instructions can be found in the post of the respective moderator.
