DOStats - Darkorbit Stastics

After long consideration, Bonge and I decided to put in the work and bring dostats back alive.

The new website tracks the flow of users in the chat across the 19 darkorbit servers. Unfortunately you know darkorbit and they can never do anything right, they only display 100 users maximum in the chat so therefore servers with more than 100 users in that chat region, will only show 100 max. This meaning all the statistics shown, are minimum values.

The new Hall Of Fame, this is where I came into the mix. The leaderboards have been updated and new ones have been added such as:

-Hall of Aliens
-Hall of Kills
-Hall of Experience
-Hall of Gates [Every gate]
-Hall of Times - Shows fastest gate times across servers with bugged times removed.

with plans of adding many more and I would like to see what others you would want to see, so please suggest below.





The chat statistics are updated 24/7 with the leaderboards being updated multiple times a day.

as i see mexico server is lock at 101 cauze of the chat limitation
But they add multi language like global server 1/2 months ago
so it shouldn't be locked

the 100 players limit is by client's language, it doesn't matter if the server is global if there are more than 100 people on the same server it can't go over 100 for that same language

Bonge looked into this and yeah, you're right. Mexico now shows different chat regions.

Mexico have different chat
so it's more than 100 players ;)

I have plans to work on it this week as I have time off.

Currently the website is being updated manually when I have time to run the script, it will soon be ran automatically.

Plans to add automatic update of the stats to the website. It's still undecided what we're going to do with the chat tracking system as currently it doesn't seem worthy enough to run because of it's inaccuracy.

Very interesting Website! I´m also amused that I still find myself in there:)

Edit: I am saving the data myself. It´s like a time machine in a few years going back and looking at it.

Changes:

-Removed old chat statistics - no longer possible to track
-Added new section, Hall of Times - Shows fastest gate times across servers with bugged times removed.
-Made the look more attractive to the eye


Future additions:

-Quests table [100 quests, BL series]
