Black Marketeer's stop using Discord!

Anyone, doing any dealing in the Black Market's needs to stop using discord, multiple public and private client discords have been banned in the last few months and with them anyone whose Discord details matched game client accounts saw those accounts banned too.

Discord is sharing your details, your conversations, your dm's, your IP's etc with games companies, this has been obvious since before Christmas.

Developers, move to Telegram or another properly private end to end encrpted group chat, you'll only have users saying your client was detected when in fact they logged on to your Discord with the same email they log onto Battle.Net or Orgin etc...

I call the biggest pile of bullshit I ever encountered.

He's basically saying you're getting banned because you dared to join a Discord where cheats have been sold oO

Should be evident this is bs.

The above is partially true. Discord does sell user data to third parties, but this data does not contain email or ip addresses. This is metadata from which it is impossible to isolate any individual user data.

I've seen this happen multiple servers, since it goes against Discords TOS
But I wouldn't say there particular send all that private stuff to other gaming companies.

I doubt Discord would do that, and if they did the information they can release is very minimal. Most likely nothing to do with IP, games played etc.
