Good day guys

Does anyone knows how to edit dds files and how to remove their backgrounds ?

Can someone tell me what program to use and where can I find the steps to do it (tutorial) ?

I'm pretty sure with a simple search you can find something for other software as well if Photoshop is not your thing.

Pretty sure Paint.NET supports DDS if I remember correctly.

And it's free and light-weight soooo.

I only ever tried GiMP as an alternative and backed off almost instantly. Tbh nowadays I don't use either so I'm probably not the best guy to give an opinion on what to choose. CS2 is "free" though.
