Warlock Double Dmg Buff

Ok, so heres what you do
1. Spec demonology so you can have demonic sacrifice and master demonologist
2. summon a pet (we'll use succ as an example cause she looks the best)
3. look at the little square where your buffs are that says it gives you +10% to all dmg
4. Sacrifice your succ, you should now have the +15% to shadow dmg buff on
5. (key part) Have a priest res your succ.
6. There you have it, now you have the +10% to all dmg buff, and the +15% shadow dmg buff on at the same time.
The trick to this is that for demonic sacrifice, it says the buff will be canceled out once you summon another pet, so instead of summoning one, you have someone res your existing one and it wont count as a summon. This works for all of the warlock pets.

How is that double damage??? looks to me like 25% extra damage not 100% extra.

If you are engineer you can res succu with goblin jumper cables. And it's not double damage.

i used to do this all the time b4 resepccing to 7/5/39 :P

point is :


apon saccing an ressing your minion (hunters have pets, warlocks have Minions!!) you will receive the MD buff together with the demonic sac buff.

saccing succi is an uber boost to +shadow damage!

pretty pointless in PvP ofc, cause once ur dead - it goes away. but gr8 for farming.

Well lets say you could do exactly 100 dmg double would be ::
100 * 2 = 200dmg

Ok. Well this guide says you end up with 25% extra damage so ::
100 + 100 * .25 = 125 dmg
200 != 125

I got 100% from ::
100 + 100 * 1.00 = 200 dmg
200 == 200

Sooo thats where I got 100% and thats where I still dont understand where you get double damage.

But if its like that, then its not just double, its really like just a huge boost, and that means this could be almost as good as the shaman totem exploit was.
