cannot connect to server

ok first...I HAVE ALREADY SEARCHED...nothing I tried worked

I have recently made a pserver and whenever I keep trying to connect to it it says "cannot connect to server".
I am using difference client..could it be why?
I have all IPs setup right and the version.ini files match.
I am running the server with VMware (cause I have vista).
any help?

try to restart you hamachie (not X but, on/off)

hmm let me try that. I will say if it works.

Check the default ports in loginlist.csv and channellist.csv

Well, what ports are you using? Are the same in the ".ini" files?
Make sure to check in server and client side.

if you using hamachie try to ping

just dubbel click on the ip in your hamachie connection list

right mouse click and hit ping ip

I tried both those and nothing appears or shows up...

I can't really send a ss when I just said neither of those work to make ANYTHING show up...
*edit* I am going to try running the client on a different computer tomorrow and see if others can join it but not me.

try to install another hamachi version and check your firewall

firewall is fine and I tried a different version but still nothing...
