how files are created.cob

Hi, I'm looking for help to see how the [.cob] files are created, since I want to change the textures of various creatures to add more variety
I put example of the helmetcrab I would like to be able to add three types of different colors

I'd suggest you to use copied and hexed versions to create more variety.
At the moment we don't have the possibility to create .cob-files completely on our own....
