Just found out how everyone's getting through the gates before the race actually starts. Accidentally did this myself earlier. Didn't see it posted anywhere else.

If your lagging you can walk right through the gate. Its the same as the old way to get through GW gate.

Easiest way is to disconnect your modem when the gate is off screen, and reconnect it, then run across while your still lagging. And when it reconnects your back running on the winning side.

it happened with me but not that way , without dissconnecting ir othere !!!

I usually run a download to use up all my connection speed to get through.

well... i tried with like 2700PING and still not worked lmao! so got any other ideas?

my style is i open my yahoo msgr then, click on add plug-ins, then listen to yahoo radio coz when i do that i always get 3k ping. lmao

just delete the gate file from your client, thats the easiest way....

I agree, use a lag switch for this. I first started making lag switches on PS2, Socom 3 =) They do work with LAN, Cable, and Dial-UP (Yes, a phone line!) It's fairly simple too, just need a switch of some sort. I know people use power-switches that you buy for computers, but I use a light switch. I also tried with a lamp-dim-switch, it worked awesome =)

I tried a lag switch with this, and it works. So no one can say it doesn't. ;)
