Making Secundary test server

Can any one tell me how to put a second server for testing purposes? I just got one IP Adress on my dedicated i want a test server so i dont got to put server offline.

Well I would suggest using a vm an setting it up on that an then use a hamachi ip that way you and only you can connect to it for your testing purposes.

Using vm wouldnt that use way to many resourcers? Becuase the server is live atm. Im gonna just try use hamachi, copy the current server folder and change ip/ports. Good to?

You should get a new host..
just add the ip of the other host ^^
You make it like 2 different servers on 1 client ;)
Just make a new line in login.csv channellist.csv etc ^^
And add the "new" server ip.
You could use VmWare for you'r test server..

It has to be possible , atm i installed hamachi,changed all ips but indeed i get logged into the live server. I think i need to change ports but to what ports and where?

Installing vmware is to much work it can be done by my method but i need to know how.

No no,this is needed to be shared to the rest of the people so they can do it to. If u know how to do it share if not i wait and search in main time.

you can make allot of "extra" servers if you want
but be aware that other uses may "join" that server if its public

or you can make your own channel list and login in your client
if should work

Would be great janvier if you just told me how to do it,what to edit.

But you don't make it public you only send it to the other members who are going to use the test server. And if you knew how you could also program some serial that gets sent to the server and then server checks to see if it matches then if it does it lets the user connect. Or i think you could just make a second server and run it off local ip, but you don't want to be playing the game on your dedi/computer that's running the server cause it might make it lag.

So i have to added the hamachi ip in their , i go login and still same server nothing changed u see what i mean? Im doing something wrong thats why i ask u what do i need to do exactly,rather then saying go to loginlist.csv besause i already have them edited with the hamachi ip.

i think you cant use 1 dekaron server for 2 channel in the game. you need to run another dekaron server with another ip address.

I hope you know what channel is;

If you have 2 channels in 1 login and you change or shutdown the server, it will happend to both of them,
You need new login
Like old; Abbadon, Trieste
then you can change/shutdown your test server
