Run 2 Toons at once

Ok heres the step by step, and this was researched by me so that way I can make a healbot that heals me as I run around. *yum*

How to do it:

Install a fresh copy of WOW, make up some random folder to put it all in.

Get a port forwarder/program or firewall.

Rename the newly installed wow.exe to wow2.exe (or whatever).

Setup your port forward so when wow2.exe runs forward incoming ports to => XXXX *make up the port you want to send it to*

Log on two accounts OR log onto the same account and get the Debuff named -Evil Twin-.

works and is a resource hog just fyi.

is this any different to dual logging?

Last time I tried I can login with two accounts at the same time by just starting wow.exe twice, without any fresh installs or firewalls.

I am able to run up to 4 clients at the same time on my putter, by just starting them so I don't see the point of this :)

It's possible to start two different WoW's with the same exe. Did it many times with different accounts. Just start it twice.

If you start wow with the same .exe twice you'll get disconnected with one account :(

This is an exploit,
Reason:
1. Yes, you can run WoW.exe twice and start two clients but you cannot log into the same account using both. By following his steps you are able to log onto the same account.

(example: account name: hm02)

If i start WoW.exe and log into hm02, i cannot start WoW.exe and log into hm02 again and play both characters.

But if i do this exploit i can.

When portforwarding, do you mean all incoming connections are somehow directed to the wow2.exe?

Would the possibly work on 2 computers, with all incoming connections going to the 2nd computer?
