How to change your Icon via API to chinese Icons

Hello,

so first of all a big shout out to @[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], if you want to thank someone; thank him!

Now the How to.

Open your League Folder.

For Example:
C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\league_client\releases\[LATEST VERSION]\deploy

Edit the system.yaml file and add
at the beginning.
Like this:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Start your LoL Client.

Now Download latest Release Zip File: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]


Unzip it and start the Rift Explorer.exe

Search for Plugin lol-summoner and click on it to expand it.
Now click on PUT /lol-summoner/v1/current-summoner/icon


Scroll down a bit there you find Parameters -> body

Add the following

Example:
Change the ID to whatever Icon you want. Only chibi/chinese Icnons work.
Iconlist: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]



Click Try it out!

Done.

Have fun.

The icon will only be shown in your Profile/Friendlist, not in Loading Screen/Ingame.

It should not be banable, BUT i cannot guarantee you that a 100%.

You basically using the API to choose Icons you already have, but are hidden.
In china these are the random icons and everybody has them.
So they are in every client but u cant choose them, now you use the riot api to do so.

Ah thanks also it sucks a bit they dont show in game

can you do other stuff there? or just icon?

Is there a setting to change so you can see it in the loading screen?

I get that shit error, when i wanna do that: "Can't load Swagger. Make sure it's enabled in system.yaml"

but i already edit the system file .. u know wheres the problem?

I got this error too. Close everything and open the system file. Make sure you put a space between the colon and "true". Has to be exactly like OP posted.
