How do you feel about BfA?

This post is meant to be more of an objective (possibly even constructive) discussion. I'm not bashing or threatening to unsub. But anyways;

I have played nonstop since the end of BC, usually pushing Mythic and formerly Heroic raid content. Every xpac release, I take a few days off work and no-life it. Go through the usual cycle, login less once a tier becomes stale, etc. Something about this xpac seems a lot more bleak, though. Even worse than WoD.

My guildies are barely ever on and I'm gathering they feel the same way as I do. So I'm wondering how you all feel about BfA so far?

From the surface, the xpac seemed a little light on major features and didn't really appeal all too much to me when it was announced. But, I'm an addict so I bought it anyways. Leveling seemed a little more draining than it has in the past, but nothing too out of the ordinary, I suppose. The gearing process felt in-line with the past xpac's, as well. But after about 4-5 weeks of the raid being open, I lost a ton of interest and just can't push myself to enjoy it. I pretty much log on for raid now and that's about it. Can't stand the thought of any more quests, leveling alts, or WQs. I feel like the grind has been horrific so far. Still pushing to hit revered on a few of the reps.

Kinda feels like they just reused Legion's features and stripped them down. I don't know if it's because we had legendaries and artifacts and now we have a boring necklace, as many point out, or if I'm finally exhausted of the grind, or what it is. I WANT to enjoy the game again, I just can't. I also hate that they got rid of tier sets. Raids will all feel like Highmaul, Emerald Nightmare, and Mogu'shan Vaults now. Just blaze through, get some pieces from M+ and weekly cache, get fully geared in a month, and then back to sleep.

Professions have sucked ever since they made it so that a BS, LW, or Tailor can make every single piece of gear in shit quality. I enjoyed it back when epic patterns dropped in raids. It feels impossible to make gold now, as well. The follower missions suck and never should have made their way in to this xpac. Let that feature die, already. It was only enjoyable when you geared them up and had epic and legendary followers. I miss Legion's approach to spec / class identity. Now we all feel generic and boring. I miss legendaries, despite how many people complained about the RNG. If we could have just had some way to target certain types, it would have been fucking awesome. Nothing feels good after losing artifacts, either.

I have missed reforging and large talent trees for ages now. I enjoy the fact that M+ exists and is an alternative to raiding. Other than Raider.io isolating people without set groups to push the content, it's a good feature.

It also seems really boring, for Alliance players, that our new zones and people are just a bunch of fat human sailors... Snore.... zzzZZZzzz. Half of my BNet friend's list haven't logged on in months, the other half log in for an hour or two a week. Can't tell if I'm just getting older and fed up or if this xpac really sucks this much?

Sorry for rambling. Thoughts?

I feel you. Itīs an open opinion that BFA feels like Legion 2.0, but for me, it feels even worse. There is no real content to play, yea sure raids, mythic+ and some other stuff like the island expeditions but that pretty much it. Warfronts sucks, in my opinion, I like Ashran even more and that means a lot. In Legion, you were a badass with the legendary system and for sure the artifact system. The legendary system was still bullshit with this massive RNG but still, you had like cool extras that change the way you play, you could even try out different builds and have fun with it, you won't be the strongest and the top dps or whatever but you had fun. Now you have this shitty neckless that give you some type of artifact extras but way worse.
Legion was great for me at least and that is a big reason for my way BFA feels so bad. Yea mythic+ is nice but I grinded that a lot in Legion I don`t want to do the same dungeon over and over again for another couple of years.
BFA is the first xpac where I won't raid on mythic level because there is no reason for me. you have nothing to do with it. There is no content besides that, that actually makes fun and makes you want to grind the shit out of the game.

Blizzard is going into such a bad way, the legendary system was great but the RNG was bad, that changed that to the end why not earlier? Now they take a good system and go two steps back with it, for what reason?
I think everybody sees that Blizzard is out for money with that mobile Diablo shitshow and no love for WoW. The developers donīt play the game anymore and you do that what looks good on paper. Now they just react to the playerbase if they cry so hard for something and complain about everything and after that, they make little changes like the currencies right now.
I donīt have fun in a game where nobody who develops has fun working on it.

BfA in its current state feels like an abomination. A abomination of Legion.

Very disappointed.

They managed to ruin every aspect of the game for me. Even the gameplay itself with all this scaling, dmg sponge mob crap.

I'm really playing just out of addiction, because I'm not playing in Ian's little sandbox where he just decides to alienate a chunk of the player base because devs feel like exterminating Night Elves and reducing the Alliance to "humans and sidekicks" even more just because it's easier to design (or bias, who knows what goes in these guys heads...).What about PvP?It is not possible to play pvp without appropriate gear for PvP...I`m even starting to use PvP boost from [Only registered and activated users can see links.
