I'm pretty new to this scene. If I got game banned on a steam account that is not my main am I safe to launch and play the game on my main without worrying about a gameban if I am legit on it?

If you got banned by AC, then no, EAC HWID bans but wipes the HWID bans after like 6 months, so either get a spoofer, new pc, or wait 6 months
