I played flyff 10 years ago and was doing random recordings here and it was the game that sparked my interest in filmmaking to the point that I stopped playing and pursued it as a career. Now that i'm revisiting it, I would like to create a dedicated parting video to thank this game. I have a little bit of experience with server development with this game since I was making my own pserver back then for my recordings but that was 8-10 years ago.
Was wondering if there are ways to have control over the depth of field and field of view in-game? So that I can record some establishing shots. I know the tools are very limited given that this is a fairly old game however I noticed that when you fly and use the speed booster it changes the field of view on your screen, maybe there's a setting/tools I can use/tinker with in game that lets me control that? Something like noclip in counter strike. Thank you :)

I dont think so. But you could record on a second client.
For example you fly with your first char and with your second char you stay a bit higher than your first and record him while he is flying. I did this sometimes in the past and it worked very well.

If you are looking for a good program to record, I can recommend OBS.
For the "ego-view" you can press they key "Rollen" on the keyboard (I think it's called "Scroll-Lock" on the english keyboard, it's right from they key "Print")
