100% free server from shop.

We all know that shop advantage some players that can effort to pay and make it hard to balance pve and itemmall. (probably many servers close due of this bad balancement)

But a server need money for remain open, pay developments and give to owners some entries from it.

So i thought about a solution that I want to explain here asking your opinion about before do a work that maybe it's not as good as i think.


The idea is make a Full PvP server where for play need to spend around 5$ monthly:
- After account creation first month is Free.
- Top 3 Monthly Players will get 1 extra month free (top 3 voter, top 3 pvp players, maybe more things).
- There will be few other ways for trade 1 month with other players, so who cannot really effort it can let other users pay for it. (Haven't yet figured it out)
- For payment there will be more options than just paypal, like phone and prepaid card system.
(Maybe we can add to shop some no-points items like costumes)

In the server there will be some items to farm for improve from bosses, but starter set can pvp without problems.

You do understand to make a server work, you need a lot of pinoys. Especially for a PvP one. And these guys can't afford to buy a server for 5$ monthly. Even if there's a trading system for it, for a successful server, they will be 50% of your population.

So you basically say you build a Server like 90% of the Community ("PvPvE", INSTANT PVP, 99% FREE) but the only difference is that your Server requires 5€/month where to others don't.


Other than that (If you decide to go full 100% free no farming):
I do not think you will a) gather enough Players to Keep the Server up to have pvp 24/7 and b) find enough People who are willing to spend the 5€/month for a shaiya Server.

Remember: Money Comes out of desire, not out of force.

Turning this into a WoW.
