Can't connect to map

08/11/2018 22:47 ADRY_13#1
Hello, I'm having some issues on connection to any server space map.

At first I thought it was some problem with my connection and darkorbit (since their support told me they had no problem connecting to my account) and I gave up and searched for a private server.

Now I just see that I can't connecto to the space map of any private server.... I tryed Andromeda server, Deathspace server, and I can't connect to the map in bouth...

Anyone has any idea of what it could be? I was thinking it could have something to do with the ports but I talked to the person who services me internet and everything seems fine :s

I apreciate any ideas

Can I ask the darkorbit support telling them I tried on a private server and it doesn't work neither? Or they will ban me?

I really don't know what else to do, I tried to open the ports that the forum says but still can't connect :s

Anyone with a private server knows anything in common with the darkorbit servers? I mean, I tried with another computer and can't log in neither so must be something internet related..

Anyone can help me out? Please! :(

Try this:
Press > Win + R < to open the Run box, then type: ipconfig /flushdns and hit Enter.
Jobs done! Usually this helps.

If that doesn't help, try and clear the Flash Player cache :)

Don't mention private servers as it's a lawbreak to use their files as they're copyright protected etc.
And last thing, next time use this thread for DO related questions ^^

spacemap ip's are not resolved by dns.

@OP
See that your firewall doesn't block outgoing connections to port 8080 on protocol TCP.
Maybe try turning off your firewall alltogether to see if that is a problem. Also be sure your router doesn't block the connection.

Hey, thanks again for your help but it didn't work at all.

I opened the 8080 port on windows firewall in both directions, opened the port in both directions on my router too and tryed to flush my dns, nothing solved the problem.

I also cleaned the adobe cache and the google chrome cookies, and still not working. The guy that manages my connection says he has all ports open but as I said, if someone uses the port before me he blocks me from accessing darkorbit?

Thanks again.

Happy to anounce that, without touching anything it works fine again....

I don't know what solved it, but glad it works (atleast for now).

You can close the thread! Thanks to all for helping again :)
