Gate Server connect Failed 3901

08/04/2018 20:43 sapio#1
yo, I had made a server couple days ago (my first time)

i am getting so confused on how to deal with this error "Gate Server connect Failed 3901", i searched forums and didn't get an answer

i setup my server on my PC, some Info:

SQL dbo.TServer IPs ==> Local IP (192.168.1.2)
register 64 ==> changed every IP there to => local ip(192.168.1.2)
XAMPP ==> changed serverlist5 to = > local IP(192.168.1.2)
.bat changed it to ==> Local IP(192.168.1.2)
and it works fine when i log in server from the same PC or another PC sharing same router

But when i try to login from another router, i get that 3091 error
keep in mind that i changed the .bat file to (my IPv4)

I used the same Rohan (client/folder/data/files) as the server PC

If i forgot any info , Just ask me about it

if anyone can help me it would be much appreciated

keep in mind it is my first time setting a server up , and i am doing it just to have fun with my friends, so don't be harsh on me.
Thanks <3

A local connection means logging in trough the same router if you want to login from a different router you have to first port forward the ports on your server router. Then it becomes public so everyone from everywhere can connect.

i had already port forwarded [80] for XAMPP, but i took ur advice and done the following:
-added my PC Local IP in DMZ Host [[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
-forwarded the following ports :
80/22500/22100/30000/22900/29785/23276/57842/14323/15340/14316/14572/50308/51076/13555/58455/18114/18882/36802/59863/17907

Still got the same Issue

ppl can to log to server (so i guess ports r doing fine) but when they get to Character select, they find this 3091 error [[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

if u got any other suggestion or advice , i am willing to try whatever u say
Thank u soo much for trying to help me :)

If its a local server I would suggest using Hamachi.

1 of 2 things is happening here check each
1st You use the wrong local ip. Open CMD and type IPConfig.
2nd You have either the wrong port or wrong ip on ServerList5.php
(You can also check RohanAuth db connection string if it fits)

1st thing 1st: You need to understand how LANs and Routers work.

Each router can have it's own set of local IP addresses. Those IP addresses you are using are knows as non-routeable or private addresses and are not accessible outside of your LAN. Each LAN only knows about it's set of addresses because your LAN's router controls them. In short each LAN can have it's own computer with an address of 192.128.1.2.

Are you following me so far?

If you want to access that server from another router's LAN, You have to publish the WAN (internet) address of the server's router and either forward all the necessary ports in the server's router or put that server in the LAN router's DMZ (all ports forwarded to the server). Your WAN address is the one your internet provider gives you and it is how other computers on the internet can find you. Your WAN address does not start with 192.168.2.

To access the server from that second LAN you use that external LAN address for it and encode that in your serverlist5.php. Once you have done that you server is now on the Internet and anybody that knows your external IP address can access (and hack) it.

It's noone of the above
It's a common issue i had you dont just edit the .reg file and then double click it it wont work.

You have to open regedit and go there and edit it manualy.

Just use hamachi to test with your friend
