DE/EN | OpenNos Server Setup Issues - Looking for assistance

Hello folks!

I would like to setup my own private server, firstly to play around with a friend and additionaly I would like to mess around with C# (I'm no expert at programming, but very much interested in it).

I tried to follow along multiple video guides, thread articles and get to an end with some errors. Hence I cannot find any solutions and would like to get that project done, is there anybody who would like to help me setup the server in one session (if able).

There's always those peoples who claim "ah eze peze, press this that - BOOM it works", but please for once, give some help instead of posting unnecessary comments like "oh read that, or this" - I TRIED TO, OK?! Currently I'm having issues with missing files, as far as i understand i cannot get more files then from the github (I get the error before even doing the parsing, trying to build/update the DB).

Knowing the error you have might be a good start, if you just say "I have a problem trying to build the db", this doesn't give much information

Hey there bud,
as first dont use the Source from GitHub. Rather use the cracked Ciapa Source.
Second of all the error of building the database is fixed in 3 Seconds.

There are 2 Steps which u'll need to follow.
U learned 1, but there are 2.

When u wanna type in "Update-Database -Verbose" you have to set the DAL.EF as Startup Project, but ATTENTION! That's the Step 1, Step 2 is also to set the startup project above, where u can run EXE. So where u were able to fun OpenNos.World or OpenNos.ImportConsole you need to set OpenNos
DAL.EF instead.

So set DAL.EF twice!!!
