Step 1: Delelte all Database content (All Tables, if theres a error just keep going, you are able to delete them)

Step 2: Open the Console on VS, and type in: Update-Database -Verbose

Step 3: Parsing

really ? xD

_____________

If you edited something in the code, then just use the packet manager console (tools => NuGet Package manager => Packet Manager Console), select the DAL.EF project, and use these 2 commands:

- Add-Migration Aphrodite
- Update-Database

I opened ssms I typed aws rds modify-db-instance
**** --db-instance-identifier <mydbinstance> ^
**** --engine-version <11.00.6020.0.v1> ^
**** --option-group-name <default: sqlserver-se-11-00> ^
**** --db-parameter-group-name <default.sqlserver-se-11.0> ^
**** --allow-major-version-upgrade ^
**** --no-apply-immediately and then I made debug and it worked
--no-apply-immediately

You must be right, we should delete everything when it does not work as it should.

It seems it was not his question : his question was how to update the software sql server... this is sad to know that someone can’t even write a correct question or update a software.
This is again more sad when you do a good answer and he answer “I don’t care”

I know you both are great developers, but in this case i cant understand you, isnt it actually a simple answer to his more or less complicated and not accurate question? There is no need to flame him for that, cant you just give him an answer to this question ...?

I don’t flame anyone... just tell to Erixor that is answer was good but that the question was not accurate at all. Because yes the erixor solution to add a migration is THE way to change the database.
Moreover it seems the question was how to update sql server on aws... without aws precision no one would find the answer he was expecting

I'm not flaming the author of the thread nor anyone, just tells that it's a smart choice to delete EVERY datas when something does not work.

That was ironic, cuz when someone is too stupid to update the database they should just delete everything they had.
OpenNos is so simple, but instead of just trying out themself, they beg for help with every single error they have
