Maybe you guys know anyway to troubleshot this?

P.S: I remember that when i installed the Janvier working VM, i just had to run the machine and the internet connection worked perfectly, but...how he did? Don't know :c

i have similar problem because my server is a dedicate machine but i use Windows Server 2008 Enterprise x64 and all works ok. Probably you need add in Firewall a
new rules for the appropriate ports and IP, but there was never a problem for the server to have any problems with access to the Internet. Check if server gets IP from DHCP (router)

i dont remember where on VMware setup this. hope someone will help with this problem.

Just a question @[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...], What type of SQL server 2008 you use? Express? Enterprise?

You will get the same problem with all windowses. It doesn't matter if it is 2003 or 2008.

You don't need to add anything in the firewall..

All you need to do is to change NAT to Bridge in the internet settings in VMware.

If you still need help feel free to PM me in the forums.

You're wrong, in Win7, i adapter is on NAT config, and i have internet connection, In Windows server 2008 also in NAT, and i have connection...Only in Server 2003 does that, dunno why...The icon looks like i've internet, but when i type google.com in the browser, says that i'm not connected, or that something went wrong...
