After a quick look-see I can give the following:

Looks to be the most advanced rohan server out there implementing things such as socketing, PA, SA and +20 Conqueror without getting all into that Trinity mess.

Does not appear to have any web shops at all. No IM or EM. Not sure what their business model is because they can't bring in any kind of donation money without that.

Starts players at level 50. Not sure how I feel about not starting at 1 since you are dumped into pvp as soon as you roll a character. The base mobs haven't been adjusted to reflect that level since the vargs and other lowbie mobs around the towns are still at lvl 1-10. To me if you are gonna start everyone at a particular level, you had best set their prey to a compatible level. That part feels a little indo-ish to me and reflects the non-farming side of this server.

Decent starting goods. The armor is pretty and functional. There's even a kludge to give you a little crone balance to get you started. The weapon box is a good Idea, but I found you can't just pick the ones you want and have the package delete the rest. You have to take them all and dump the ones you don't want. 6x ses and ases is a good starting amount. I'm guessing you have to buy more ases with ip tickets since there doesn't seem to be any other way to get them except as drops.

Starting goods are provided using the beginitems.bin rather than the Event inventory. There are good sides and bad sides to that approach.

Rates look to be pretty much mid->upper level.

The 5x 60-slot bags (there is slots for 5 bags rather than the normal 4 bags) is a real nice feature. Haven't tried filling them yet so I can't say how tough that would be. The do not look to be the no-drop variety so be careful what you carry with you if you pvp and turn red, or get taken out by a boss :D

Heroic provides only defense and no attack boost. Which is fine by me.

At present they have a pretty low population (usually hovering around 30). I would suspect that is because they are not advertising too much yet. I have no idea what phase of release they are in (alpha, obt or release). I suspect they are still in beta since there is no visible way it can support itself. Also I have no idea who runs it, but it seems they have a pretty good handle on how to build a server.

Overall I think the server looks good and it seems to follow my preference of being an advanced server rather than an oldschool one. It does some things I don't care for but others I really like to seeing in a Rohan server. I would rate it a solid 8 out of 10.

Agree with im batman Server is really nice.

If it's a genuine server run by darkestkiller then it will be a good server. The only thing is attracting the indozerg to get the population high enough.

Uninstall the client from Add and removed programs.
If this does not work re-download the installer this has been fixed in the newer installer.

kthxbai is correct on this.
We have and do work together and help each other on some thing's but this is not a collab between us.
We each have our own respective projects.

Also I have decided not the get entangled in the epvper discussion that always happens with servers.
So you wont hear much from me here I just don't much care for hate wars and arguments.
Some times I may post just depends.

Also this server is planned to be most secure server released yet more so than the official.

Currently we have all known hacks blocked.
This includes all cheat engine hacks, speed hacks, cam mode, the .atr and etc.bin hack.
I will be coming up with new methods to block if any are bypassed as well.
I hope that it does not come to that though.

This server was great, it really was, but it will be dead now coz sea rohan.

You overestimate the popularity of official servers. I expect the SEA honeymoon to last about 2 months before its players realize it is just another Playwith P2P cash grab.

Dark's server is really quite good. All it needs now is to finish it's beta testing, get their markets in place, fix a few niggly bugs and go into full release. I'm confident with his ability to put a server out there with some staying powa. I had a nice discord chat with him and he does have some interesting ideas. I just hope he can get them out there.
