how the slot can save more than 255 item after leaving the character?

the slot only saves me 255 but I have an amount of 999 and it does not save it restarts after leaving the character at 255

Without having a look at the source:
Change data type from byte to unsigned short in server source

yes but if the same slot returns me to 255 when it is in 999 relog character
