Missing .svmap files for Customs

Hey ePvPers,

Quick question here, An Admin in my staff purchased some custom maps for us, however they are missing .svmap files.
I think I know the answer, but to clarify, are these maps going to be usable, or are they junk without their .svmap file?

The guy who sold these maps said you can create a .svmap file for them, is this true?

Thanks in advance

Anyone?

Also if these are junk now, does anyone here create custom maps? Looking to buy some new ones

Yes it's true but they are many differente svmap
120 ~= Ko like desert
560 ~= Ko like jungle
5 to 150 ~= Ko for some donjon

Ask what the base he use for new map and use the same svmap to not have some bug like respawn, mob out off map , etc...

Hey momocruz, thanks for the reply

1 of the maps is 70
another is 46
the other is 43

43 is Pando
46 is DD2
70 as we know is fine in EP4 (that was KI right? or is that 80)
Either way 70 is nothing.
But the thing is, how do I get it working right?

I put every file in the sah with LPHs tool. patch it in the server. But isn't the .svmap what you edit the mobs, NPC, portals etc?
Its still a blank .svmap when I try it.

I still cant post pics here just yet, so I will post something shortly on my other site with some screens. Custom maps are new to me, and I would like to master it :)

These are the files I was given:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Added each file in the sah with LPH's tool:

[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

I create the patch, patch it in but I still am not able to view the svmap file for this map:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

This is the map:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Would be nice to see this image in the svmap file, like the rest of the maps.

What you want to see in the svmap editor is just the minimap image for that map located in the client files. They are not part of a svmap file. (SStudio just display the map to help you when editing locations, etc.)

In this case for map 70 you need the file \Data\interface\MiniMap\70.tga located in a place SStudio could find it to display it.
