ps_game not working

Greetings

After having to wipe my OS I lost my SQL server and therefor had to redo the Shaiya installation. However now I get a strange error that I did not encounter before. All services load up perfectly when I start the services in Manager, except Game. For some reason I had a false positive by my AV on ps_game.exe. I reset the file and added the path to AV exceptions, to no avail.

I tried reading the log but that didn't help me much.

I am using 5.4 Server and Client

Use new PS_Game or unless the SQL installation failed and you are missing some things. like dlls

Running SQL 2012, didn't have any problem with it before. As I don't clearly understand the error file I am asking here since I don't know where to start looking for an error.

ps_game was the faulty file. However I tried to switch it with another (don't remember the user but from the pack where you can select lvl cap etc) and I got several bugs with stats and then DC as soon as I clicked an NPC. Seems my game.exe didn't match the server then. I tried to DL everything EP5.4 but still they didn't match. Now I can't get a working ps_game along with a game client that match.

I tried to switch out the Sdata files to match my game client but that then again caused my ps_game.exe to not work at all.

Anyone got any ideas? I tried to search around on the forum but nothing has helped so far. Or should I go for an ep6 release?

TLDR, can't match a working ps_game.exe with the game client I am running (EP5.4)

What server files / DB are you using? try this server files its for ep5.4, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
