Going back to ISRO? Need some help inside!

Hey everyone!

With the news of cap 140 and being bored af, I have made my mind to go back to official silkroad.

I'm wondering where to start or if I should re-use my old characters!
Even if I do re-use my old chars, I will probably make a full party 8 just for the fun of managing one.

I've read a lot about stuff and I have some doubts:

1. Sbot vs PHBot? Which one is better? Did SBot ever give the clientless function again?

2. Which server has a good, active community (even if they bot) that I could join? English speakers prefered but I might just join anything.

3. Does iSRO still have the ip login limit they introduced way back?

4. If I do start over, The european servers took my curiosity, but it seems they have the fatigue system. People say its super bugged and that it is possible to reset to get more than 3 hours of experience. How is that done?


--- Please do not say 'Not worth it to play there anymore'. I've searched and searched for a PServer that would make me feel like SRO and no server has ever done it. Either they end after 1-2 months or I just reach max level after 2 days, sometimes even one.

3- Yes, there are some players that got ip ban.
4- You have 5 hours of 100% exp but if you don't finish it(teleport to town and relog), it will be refreshed. For example, after playing 4 hours teleport to town and then relog, then you got almost 5 hours again. Also, you may have delay in the USA servers unless you are playing from the USA or vice-versa for European servers.

-- Do not accept private server suggestions even if they are hard rates since they will be gone near future.

3- Yeah, I heard about that, but can you only login 2 accounts from same IP or is that gone? I doubt they will ban anyone again tho lol.

1. SBot by far. Yes it has clientless.
2. Newest servers always have the most active community until a new server will be open. In this case it is Hestia. But as I said. As soon as a new server opens activity will drop really much. Hestia has Cap 90 at the moment.
3. No. They do not have that IP limit they introduced back in the days. But a few month ago they added a new version of the IP limit. Now you are only able to connect 2 chars at the same time. If one char is on the server you can connect another char. In other words: You are only allowed to have 2 chars in the login queque. But you are allowed to have hunderets of chars online at the same time. They just are not allow to connect at the same time.
4. As soon as you have 5 or 10 minutes left on your blue bar teleport back to town and reconnect. After that your bar will be full again. Sometimes you will get 5 hours back. Some other time only 4h and 30 min or even less. If you disconnect way before the blue bar is nearly empty you usually won't get a full bar after relog. Maybe 2 hours if you are lucky. What also can happen is, that your bar won't recharge after 10 -15 hours (2-3 relogs). Maybe you get 5 minutes left on that bar. There really is no logic behind that system.

So fatigue system is just another joymax system, bugged to the core lol

Is there anyone in epvp still playing in any server?

Cap 100 Should be out there in 1 or 2 months.
Cap 110 probably around August. Cap 120 at the end of the year (October - December).
At least that was the case on Aeolus.

140 cap is the biggest garbage, every 140 cap pserver has a better 140 cap!
You've added a small dungeon and copied it, once for 131-135 and once for 136-140, then there are many old monsters to see

Like you, i've decided to go back to isro and Hestia sems to be a good choice since now..
Started yesterday, and i'm 42..feel awesome there..
You should try it, if you want to feel "old" sro or what means "old" in those days..
Anyway, if u want to try it and use your hands as a BOT, feel free to pm me .

Wait until you are Level 90 and everyone is running around with DG 10 items in Cap 90. This really has nothing to do with oldschool :D

Im not playing like others with bot,donate..etc etc..
Im just spending my time and chill out there, doing quests/fgw..sems funny ^^
But, if you want to "feel" something nice, then thats the server where people should play..but, i dont suggest it for a long term since joymax will update cap to 100 in max 2 months and after 110 and so on..you know the story ^^
After all, 2 months is enought for remember a little of sro 2008/2010 journey..
By the way, it's pretty hard to find a guild..i've asked some for it but they said i need VIP or something like this to join them..sadly..
Anyway, enought talk, im there for maxim 2-3 months so enjoy and feel free to pm me !

The server will eventually move forward to 12D wheres the biggest pay2win ever. People will eventually bleed out and leave.
Then eventually 130 cap will come.. and then suddenly ANOTHER 9D server opens, Xname. Everyone will move back there to the new server only to repeat the same process again.

That happened with Aeolus

I give a f*ck about them because they ruin the Cap 90 feeling.
For higher level players the whole balance is ruined.

Finding good guilds without VIP is indeed really hard. Basically no big guild wants to join these players. Simply because it is pretty obvious that they do not have any chance in PVP.

Back when I played on Aeolus we had 2 unions with 2 - 3 guilds. And these two unions dominated everything. Of course there were other guilds on the server. But if the other guilds pretty much sucked. If you were not in Heaven, PeaceEmpire, Blitzkri3g or Revolution everything was much more boring.

Most players will probably leave around Cap 100.
Happened to Metal, YourKiller (who were the top players on Aeolus at that time). I left Aeolus one 1,5 months before Cap 110 arrived. Then JCPlanet decided to open Xian and most players switched to Xian with their main char. And from what I have heard a lot of player did the same with Xian when JCPlanet launched Hestia earlier this year.

Everything that Aeolus has left is one guild that "dominates" everything. The other guilds do not even have a single chance to get Hotan Fortress.

Thats why I think the best thing you can do when you want to play SRO again is waiting for a new server. If they open one join this server and have some fun. Then leave a few weeks before Cap 110 will be released or even before. Best way to find the perfect time to leave is when "the best" players get bored. And if the first "big names" leave.
