DemonPower Finally in beta

Dear users,
it is a long time ago when we launched alpha ( about 3 months now ? )

I (PowerChaos) and MageWarior were working hard on the server to make it fully operational to the needs of the players

Main credits goes to MageWarior as he is the DB Admin
i mainly dit the website and his complex system ( remeote ajax , php 7.2 )

but hey, that is now where i made this post for

so lets start with the best part

DemonPower Online is NOW FINALLY in beta

lets get to the stages

• Alpha / Pre Alpha for 3 months
• Beta for 2 weeks (if all goes well )
• Final Release ( let the game start )

This is wat we have for beta , release is the same exept a few more things xD

in case you are still reading ... because of the start of the beta we got some specials running at this moment

The first 10 players who play the game get to a certain point that they can claim a Reward ... that reward is our Alpha Reward (value of 10 euro )
so be the first to find that npc and be rewarded for joining the beta

our beta start at Friday 23/03/2018 @ 8PM ( after server maint )
You can already download/register your account , but you need to wait for patch 1015 that will come after server maint to start playing

so how sooner you are ready to go , how more luck you have to claim our special beta reward

Also for a limited time we Sell ALPHA robes ... those Garments are only avaible in the beta game ... after beta is the alpha robe not avaible anymore in shop ( first week it is 1000 clouds , then 1500 clouds until end of beta )
so be fast , as it is only limited time avaible ... and yes it will NEVER return again

Was excited for this server but now since the new version of chinese EO Is around for private servers.. dont think many people are Interested anymore :/

it depends
if you are talking about a buggy server ? or a server like there are so many ?
the thing we try to do is making a great game that is atleast bugfree

also if i ever could find a free version of the "chinese latest private server files" then probably we can also include them ( thats what we dit with DP and ToS )

only difference is that we recreated the database , everything was wiped out of it ( exept some parts) including npc's and non existing items
so we started from scratch

the thing that makes this back unic again is the way you play
Feel free to test it out and let me know the feedback
and then let me know if you preffer the "latest" or "DemonPower"

We are not searching for persons to spend real money. Thats why we make donations benefit free. Like garments. You just look more nice. But aint given any benefits. We also have mounts. Yes. Prefixt stars. But you cant compose them. And they die in 1 hit from madbulls, have no stats ect. Su its just for mounting. Why we even have donations you ask? Simple. To fund the servers cost.

Maybe after the beta phase is over, you can start to provide 'extra ingredients' to those who help directly and indirectly. financially and time spent. as a token of appreciation.

No problem. I understand its hard to beleave that we are not going to try to get as mutch money possible and gone sell eps ect because it is hard to gett. But i will say we wont sell ep and stuff that unbalance the game

ok lets explain a few parts to make things a bit more clear about what we try to do

Those are the donation list

• donation list
• Vip Level 6
• Garments
• Level Pack
• Item Packs
• Mounts

lets break them up for the stats they provide

• Vip level explained
• Vip 6 gives you a 10 min batch hatcher (need level 50 to claim) ... vip 5 you get for free on level 130 and provide you a 15 min batch hatcher
• All vip levels got there own Free reward per day ( Loyality Reward )
• All vip levels can be gained for free exept vip level 6 .. ( level 50 - 75 - 100 - 120 - 130 for following vips -> 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 )

• Mounts explained
• there is a 10* and a 25* mount
• Always gold Star , 1 hp and they cant sit in you
• They can not be composed ( no way to comppose ) -> if you can you get from us a big reward so we can solve that bug ( you earned it )
• they are useless as pets to use ... as they are instand dead no mather what hits them
• They do no damage at all ... so even useless to fight with them

• Garments Explained
• Garments are looks ...
• Some garments have special LOOK effects .. no other effects added
• Some garments are collectors items ( Like Alpha and Beta Garment)
• Some garments are limited time avaible (wedding garment , only in spring and summer)
• No extra bonusses , no locks .... just a garment

• Level Boost
• This boost your LEVEL to level 100
• average time needed to get level 100 => 1 or 2 days
• No equipment ... just level 100
• No extra bonus ... just level 100 and you still need to farm your gear
• level 50 -> 85 dungeons provide gear drop , o wait this let you jump to level 100 ... makes things easy'er if i just got some gear
• Mainly used for Mannequins to skip the starting stage

• item boosters .. o wait ...
• XP Booster pack -> gives instand XP skill ... handy if you do not like to wait 5 min
• StarPotion -> it provide 12* mobs for 1 hour -> giant exp boost if you can handle them (will also provided in game as reward ..o wait xp boosters to o.O )

so why we provide that manny stuff for donations ?
because we want that every one who donate get something that they like
not just ep crap , but something that got value for there donation
and that does NOT BREAK the game for people who can not donate
even for non donators we got rewards

• Non donators specials ... yes it exist
• Free vip level claims on certain character levels
• Daily rewards based on vip level
• Share code , Claim code .. free clouds(coins) on differend ways
• Events that provide codes ... (your max level? .. enjoy your bonus of Xx clouds)
• We are always thinking to add more stuff for non donators so donations get even less value compared to normal gameplay

So now what we do with the donations ?
simple ... we got server costs like you can see in a other post of me
to sum up the costs a little

• Server costs ? really ??
• Server cost montly a certain amount ( not cheap )
• ip adresses are charged extra
• Windows license cost even more money
• SSL Certificates ... o wait those are free if you got the know how (letsencrypt)
• WebServer ... its not a rubish freehost ... it cost money (its a other server xD)
• Traffic ... wait that part is included
• TeamSpeak , no its Discord so also free
• Coding time ... coding was always that easy and cost no time .. is what i wish
• Domain Names ... yes they cost a lot

so if you just calculate all those costs we get a estimate cost of around 100 Euro per month

those costs will incrase as we grow ... more players -> more cpu/ram needed
so we need to get donations somehow
but that does not mean that donators can rule the server ... as we created this server for the players
a donator wont get faster/better then a normal player
even vip 6 does not provide that much power


ok lets talk about the rewards for joining alpha/beta
for alpha reward we got a npc in game that will provide a reward
if you are one of the first 10 players who can claim his reward from that npc ( on level X )
as we only got a few active alpha players , those are rewarded personally

for beta testers
same rule apply , active beta testers get contacted perosnally and get a reward from us
other beta players can join a end of beta event and get there reward that way

all others who still like to feel that they joined alpha/beta can buy our special garment as long it is avaible ( alpha garment is avaible only during beta , beta garment is avaible until 1 month after beta ended) and wil NEVER return (so collectors item )

The chinese devs that are working on releasing the updated version. Also cannot just update old version to the new one, have to build It from zero.

Even stuff like mannequins are not even Implemented yet.
Latest version will attract more players because It has a working god system, divine equips, 3 socket, new classes (including mage, paladin and warrior rework), soul/spirit pets etc.

not bad , but as long it is not ready will it take some time before it can be used
if needed we can rework our database to the new version

but so far we stick to the old stuff

based on some feedback do people like the way we created the game at this moment
so later on we will figure out a way to add the new stuff as soon they are stable ( divine is from 2011, its 2018 now )

You cannot use the old db on the new version, nothing from old version Is compatible. Theres already servers out there using It. And Its not just the divine expansion, It also Includes the goddess braids expansion which rebalances all the classes.
