Application [Shaiya]

Application for Shaiya and its sub-sections.

Introduction:
Hello Administration and Community,
My name is Vanessa, I am 23 years old and I’m applying as moderator for the Shaiya section.
I’m currently an University student, senior year of computer management, which includes most known programming languages and a bit of maths and accounting. My native language is Portuguese but I can speak and write English fluently and Spanish as well.

My experience with the Shaiya section:
I got introduced to the game in 2010, played the original version for almost a year and then I found the Private Servers and EPvP in 2013 and have been playing PServers since then. In terms of game development, the maximum I’ve done was some gear recoloring in Photoshop and some website tweaks. Even though I have knowledge of C#, C++, PhP and some Javascript I’ve never tried creating something of my own.

Why am I applying:
I’ve been around since 2013, I know most rules for what it comes to Shaiya and its sub-sections. I’m a quite neutral person when it comes to monitoring and I take rules very seriously.

I believe that Vanessa will be a suitable successor for the position of Moderator in the Shaiya section. She's got plenty of experience with both the game and the community, and can operate responsibly under pressure, and I believe she has the time available to dedicate towards monitoring the section and cleaning it up. I recommended that she post her application here.

I personally don't feel like the section needs a new moderator currently. The section in it's entirety doesn't generate that many posts that the current moderator can't handle.

With that being said, if the activity increases, sure, why not :).

I am the current moderator of the section she is applying for, and I have intent to resign. I was asked to nominate a potential successor, so I asked for nessitas to apply for the position, in hopes that she'd be considered for the position.

The only requirement she doesn't meet is the post count, and I didn't either when I applied for moderator (which is why they added the exception clause).

Lets trust in Cups.

Let´s give her a chance, we have to get more women moderatores with a good personality.

True the forum doesn’t generate much and there is no need to have more in this section. But, if Cups is leaving then that’s understandable, Best of luck !

Having known Vanessa for a few years now, I believe she has been part of this community for long enough to know how to best serve as moderator of its section. Having witnessed her previous activity as staff member on several private servers before, she is known to take her responsibilities seriously and contribute as much as she can to whatever she is part of.

That being said, Vanessa has my support in becoming the next Shaiya moderator.
