Question...

Hello! This is for TzPhQy

First and foremost, I have in fact followed all the instructions in the first page!

I have manually updated it by unpacking the file, going to BotCRC.exe to get the 'shared' file, got the hash, opened notepad, did the change (even if it was already 6739C0E7 which is so weird!), so that part is complete!

Next, I have updated the rexign and server .dll's from Neb's other post.


My problem: Connecting to the server...

Is the character-name case sensitive?
I have like 5 capital letters in my name, and I tried having only 1 uppercase and the rest lower, and that didn't work. I did the case-sensitive and it still wouldn't connect.

I'm running out of options here, what more do I need? What might have I probably missed? Just give me some advice, and I'm sure I can figure out the rest.

All of ur questions are there, just dont be lazy to read it.

The thing is I have, and I have read it more than 5 times looking at the bottom part how to update/configure it.

If you've read my above post, it clearly states I have followed all the necessary instructions to no avail.

I've updated the rexign/server .dll's, unpacked pack.d04, got the folders in CRC used BotCRC to get the hash which still gave me (6739C0E7) updated the version.dat and the second line was (6739C0E7 / I don't know if this is the problem though)

Anyone out there with some real advice?

Yes, if the character name (and all the data) is RaNdOm then it should be enter'ed RaNdOm, same goes for ID and password.
Always check if the server configurations are all good.
If ur character is on Siz then the server should be Siz.
Always check if the server shard is active (if a server shard is down, then u cant log in) Anything else?

For a fact I know that I'm entering the correct player information.

What do you mean by "server configurations" ?

I come in here asking nicely and I'm having genuine problems that I've stated yet you people keep giving me the same response that gives me no help at all.

Don't you figure by now that I've read all the possible resources given to me? I've already stated I read the damn first post of TzPhQy thread countless times, and that it's poorly described in a way that even while I have followed all the necessary instructions, IT STILL DOES NOT WORK.

If you've read my posts its completely identical to the one that Nebular posted, I've done all his instructions and it doesn't work. You two have been such a great help, however I'm actually looking for someone who knows what I'm doing wrong and can tell me how to fix it.
