More options for the Goldmine

Basically what the title says.

I think it would be a great idea to be able to mine elite*Gold using our GPU power. Mining with CPU is kinda obsolete and is very slow. If we could use our GPU we could mine a considerable amount of e*Gold compared to CPU mining.

I know that Coinhive only allows CPU mining, but I'm sure that something like Nicehash could be implemented to ePvP to mine with GPU , I'm sure that more people would join the Goldmine if they know that they can get something good in return. Right now , with an i7 and 24/7 mining you wouldn't even get 5$ worth of e*Gold in 30 days, that's why we don't see much activity on the mining section.. hopefully that can be changed soon.

Happy mining,

Agree. I made only 4 elite gold in like 10 hours :/
More then that, when goldmine is active, even on 70%, my computer freeze after 1-2 minutes if I try to play a game so I can't play during that time, so 4 elite gold vs playing games, I'll choose playing.

There should be more options, I barely made 1 elite gold in 10+ hours. More options would increase the incentive for people to be using the gold mine.

It's not possible to use the GPU with coinhive.
We'd have to have a look at the options for GPU mining and implement it in our system which is not trivial.

So I guess you can't expect changes in the near future.

You could start an own Monero mining pool
the mining pool would not pay out any monero, but will generate elite*gold for an epvp account (which you can give the mining pool via the id string)
with this method you would not only cut out any middleman (Coin-Hive and the internet browser) but also allow for GPU mining

However, that would probably defeat the purpose of having an 1-click easy miner

Relatively True that is why i stopped mining epvp coins, my electric bill went up by leaving my pc on mining 24/7 but only got like 2-3 elite golds.

We talked about several problems. The Biggest is that we need to knew how much valid shared the user submitted, whats the epvp account of the user and than automaticly distribuiting the eGold.
Maybe it could be possible with a lot of coding, but thats currently not our priority number one at coding projects.

So we have it in mind, but dont expect any changes to soon.
