Database Restoration

I'am now restoring my old database to my new sql 2014 but it gives me error "CREATE DATABASE or ALTER DATABASE failed because the resulting cumulative database size would exceed your licensed limit of 10240 MB per database" the size of my .bak file is 12+gb,

Anyone of you have encountered this issue while restoring a database? how can i resolve this one? Thank you in advance guys. please help me

I'am using SQL 2014 Express,

I guess you have connected to Express edition( 2008 r2/2012/2014) and since database has limitation of 10 G hence you got this message.

You need an diff database version. So not express :D

Yes look at details of your product express edition is limited to 10GB find one that can handles more

I saw a thread with the same message as you, So it means there's no any other way around to fix this :(

Can you link me a 2014 SQL enterprise or the standard one it requires key on both :/

Elitepvpers doesn't allow warez sharing.
There is a reason why you won't find visual studio 2003 or other expensive software here.
If you need the enterprise version either buy it or search on google for a cracked version.

Ohh, ok I see i asked because someone shared VS download before so i just tried anyway thank you

On google you can find both versions cracked and maybe there is a converter to compres the .bak file but im not sure on that
