While I agree, there is another side to the story.

When you search for certain information on how to fix a problem, you will often find threads in which the OP edited the topic into "Fixed the problem, can be closed" without any information in that same topic on how to fix the problem.

However, the most recently asked questions could have been answered by a simple forum search.
