PK2 Edit won´t work.

Hello and good evening Guys !

As you can see in the Topic, I´ve got a problem with the .pk2 editing.

I would like to change the stacklimit for arrows and other things.
But, something is going wrong, when I want to import the itemdata****.txt again into the media.pk2.

The extraction works fine and all needed files are there, I can change them, but the import back into the media.pk2 wont work.
The stacklimit in the DB is changed correctly in the right Tablet.

Maybe, anyone of you knows a solution for this ?

I would really appreciate it !!!

Use this editor: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] by ZeraPain
Import the files, then extract them to check if they really updated with your edits.

Hey !

That´s the editor I used before. Or Im using it the wrong way ?
Maybe you can explain me exactly how to use it ?

Maybe I dont have some permissions in windows or something like that ?

Everything should be fine, make sure you enter the next path in step 2:
server_dep\silkroad\textdata\

Did you extract the files after the importing and no changes were made?

Probably wrong path, or you're editing a different item. I usually have the whole media extracted and I import them back with Joymax pk2 tools [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Simply drag and drop the files into the editor (it will ask for a blowfish key when you open the .pk2 file which is 169841 the default silkroad blowfish key)
