VMware Archlord Server Files Zian v40

Greetings! i've just set up the repack v40 at vmware virtual machine, configured it properly to work and uploaded to share it with you, you can play with Celestia clients (with monsters & npc but without*wings & cloaks) or you can play with Codemasters Episode 3 client (without NPC/monsters but with arenas & wings & cloaks)

Monsters & NPC work only with Celestia or Ep1 / Ep2 clients

What works right now with Codemasters Episode 3 client:

1.Destroying items from inventory 5% (different packets)

HOW TO USE THE FILES

• Install VMware Workstation Pro
• Open the virtual machine server files with vmware
• Set settings at Vmware:

Edit>Virtual Network Editor

Set settings like this:

• Start Archlord Server virtual Machine
• login with user & pass
• Start Loginserver, relayserver and gameserver from desktop shortcuts
• ???
• Profit

(if gameserver crashes try adding more core processors and ram*to the virtual machine at settings)

Server will be running, now return to your desktop and connect using any of the clients from Start.bat*

Login with GM account mbnq/mbnq

HOW TO PLAY WITH HAMACHI

Once you have done all the steps install Hamachi at YOUR PC (not into the virtual machine) configure it and when your friends are inside hamachi they just need to use the start.bat file in their clients.

we dont know if works or not so in future we plan to remove them so they are in test

1 year ago I did some improvements on my own private server too but most of them were just fixing bugs (skills, item etc.). I started to edit the files to know how it all works. I was able to restore some items (like Alcadia dragon as a mount), editing them but it's very hard to edit them without crashing. World server usually tries to crash as the client too. Nowadays I just start it sometimes to play with some of my friends or just by myself but if I can help you with any kind of experience, just ask. I'm a programmer too but mainly work with web developement stuffs.

The wing and cloaks are visible for me (I use Celestia client so mobs, npcs can be spawned) but I only modified on the client side. So e.g. putting wings into neck is not possible and others can't see them yet xD (I connected the effect to the lens stone, so if u use then they can be visible - lil bit bugged ofc...). If I have some free time, I'll try to fix it and will tell you the experiences (if you're interested in).

Hope once you/we can create a playable EP3-5 AL with a feeling like was in CM times.

That would be great, if you want to join the team just apply for it at our forums, we work on this at our free time and any help would be very appreciated :)

Also forget the lens wings effect, it isn't a fix and the stats aren't applied, is just the display for wings and with episode 3 client you can have the effects of every wing/cloak, we just need to fix the packets from NPC's to be fully playable, thanks in advance!

I'm experiencing some connectivity issues with Repack v40.

I suspect the issue concerns the client(s) rather than the server files, although I'm not completely sure...

I've followed all of the instructions provided in the thread, however the end result is: "Cannot access the login server"

I've tried using both - START.bat and windowed.exe by @[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] (started with the command described in the original thread) from the thread: "[Release] Archlord episode 1-2 client windowed launcher"; link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

I've tested all of the Celestia clients, but in the end, I'd like to stick with "Archlord_Celestia_09_2010"

None of the above worked. :(

If you launch the game from another computer will not work!
I see the serverfiles are configurated corectly,so launch the game from same computer where the serverfiles are if doesnt work try to change the ip with localhost ip "127.0.0.1" and test again.

Launching the game work with start.bat not with windowd.exe(we didnt tested this yet)

The issue has been solved.

By the way, I tested the windowed.exe and it works fine with all three Celestia clients! :)

You have to run the windowed.exe via Launcher.cmd (not *.bat): "windowed.exe 192.168.1.101:11002"

Hi,

It seems that i have the same problem as AdiMit, but can't figure out how to make it work.

I can log into the game from my pc (where the vm is running) but it's lagging even with my 150 mo/s connection

So i thought "okay it's because i'm running the vm on same computer", so i tried with my laptop and hamachi but "Cannont access the login server"


I'm quite lost here ^^'
