You dont install anything on vmware cept OS, but your host pc may be too weak!

no , that is not correct.
You need VM Ware Tools. The software is necessary for the HW 3D Support.

You should as well install DirectX 9.0 c (or better) as well.
It is not part of Rappelz and the game won't work without it.

I mean on any drivers. Tools are a must and auto install of course.

I was able to get the VM to work. Using version ... >checks< ... 3.0.0 build-203739 ... using VM Player. Installed OS + VM Ware Tools. So, I checked the downloaded file, and it is VM Player 3.0.

The only issue I run into is, for some reason the VM Player crashes with some error on random occasions. I am quite certain my pc is strong enough for it. Beyond that, i hate how my mouse sticks to the VM window. When I was trying the VM Workstation prior to VM Player, the Workstation had a option to basically 'unlock the mouse' from the Player. It was nice.

So, just the random crash and mouse lock are my only issues. Else, all is good. Thank you for the heads up.

I have random crashs with the VM as well.

Are the VM Ware Tools now part of the VM Player? I though only the full version works.
