[AutoIt] Dyefind.

Incomplete.

I'm not sure how dyelite works (besides poorly, lulz), but anyway. This is an autoit script that will search the dyebox for your hex color to variation and place a small crosshair above all matching colors. The crosshair isn't super visible but it helps to find your specific color. Not really very useful for doing black on the cloth palette, for example, since there's a ton of pure black in that palette.

Providing this in case someone finds it useful and in the hopes someone knows how dyelite works or has an idea of viably determining where matching pixels need to be for the color picker in game. If someone knows how or can determine a relatively reliable way of knowing where the color picker will pick its other colors from I'd gladly incorporate it, write up a gui and make this an exe.

I'd say feel free to /discuss but we don't do none of that around here. :p

EDIT: Oh, I understand why you posted this now. Hm.

Either way Dye Lite still works... -_- but this is pretty good. Nice job.

:O

I can get dyelite to work once out of a hundred times. Give or take but the point being its never really worked for me so my real goal was to make something that actually worked for people, mostly myself but thats neither here nor there if I released it. :p I just don't know how to carry it to the next step of figuring out if there's a 2 or 3 match for the color picker since it seems to be random.

Then you set the "Minimum Dye Spots" to 2 for 2/5 and 3 for 3/5. After that, I have to click Choose Color then Immediatly turn on Dye Lite and wave my mouse in once. If I don't find anything, I close Dye Lite and repeat. It's rather annoying but it works.

Either way, what you created seems to be less of a hassle since Dye Lite is rather messed up now. Thank you ^^

When I use dyelite it always just puts up hits "here" icon and its no where near the color I want and none of the pickers there gets me what I was looking for. I think a lot of others are having that problem as well.

I'm intending to add a gui to my little dyefind eventually but hadn't put any more work into this since I've been hoping for feedback on improved functionality to be like what we want from dye lite.

Ran what thing with dyelite? You really need to work on reading and making your "thoughts" clear so people have a clue what you're trying to convey.
