sometimes you have to wait a while before their actually active, try again in about 30-mins to and hour. Also make sure your logging on to the correct server.

what i usually have to do is re-load the client in order for them to work. And make sure you are using caps where they belong, the game is case-sensitive, I think

now I finally got logged into my old account (2008) and it said to change my password, I did and it says illegal activity detected, account has been banned wtf their code monkeys are fools

lol, that's crazy. But yea in short your account was banned, dunno why they allowed you to log in and change your pass though.
