Ore rate

Just wandering if there is way to increase the ore rate so that you obtain the ore more frequently. Or was it server side? :rolleyes:

Put 1 or 6 DBs into a pick axe, put ref fury gems and you'll see nice gems/better ore rate with a pick axe lvl of 4-7.

Thanks for the input. I know pick axe proficiency does affect, but ref fury gem, nv know that. :)

never heard of pick axe proff affecting gem rate.... or quality of gems... >.<

Trust me on the mining aspect, I can easily get gems per day without even worrying about it. :)

If that was true, couldn't we use full socketed SuperFuryGem item set to mine gems like insane?
For 1 SuperDragonGem you could get 8 SuperFuryGems on our server, if it improves gem mining rate it'd be worth it.

I mine 1-3 gems per day too, even without any tricks. How many gems do you mine every day?

Anyone ever watched at the last few ore rates before mining a gem? Ex.:
Rate 5 -> Rate 9 -> Rate 2 -> Rate 8 -> Rate 2 -> Rate 9 -> Rate 5 -> Rate 5 -> Refined Kylin.
If it was a long pattern we could predict when and which gems we would mine.

I don't think dbs gems or pickaxe prof helps on mining, but i might be a patteren like chocoman4k said

I typically mine 2-5 gems per day on an average non-PK day... Since, I know that staying in the same spot for days on end will boost better gem production (damn Server Maintences, lol)

I run 2 miners... I gained 2-3 normal moons, 1 ref violet with 1 miner. 2nd miner gathered a normal drag, ref rain and ref drag in around 18 hrs of mining without using the mining bot... :)

I can post all the gems I've mined in the 1-1.5 months of mining I've done for proof (I keep count, since CO 2.0 will come out I am trying to reach to 150ish gems before it comes out. ;) )

I have a pick axe prof of 6 and a ref fury in 1 of my miners and I have a pick axe prof of 4 with a super/ref fury pick axe on my other account.

In the last 1-1.5 months... I've mined around 115ish gems using this method... Only 1 super kylin, but I've mined all ref and normal gems in the game in CO 1.0.

Well, i just started mining not long ago and manage about 1 - 3 gems per day (of course without anyone pking :) ) without the sup/ref fury in my pickaxe :rolleyes: . Well, if i got exra DB and ref fury, i might try out your method JellyFilledDonuts. :D

But then, i can't seem to get that amount in TC mine cave though. Maybe too many pker. :hm:

I'll try to check on the pattern if i have the chance. :)

So far in 5 hours... ref moon, normal violet and normal phoenix....

I get the same amount of gems with 1 miner pickaxe prof only level 2, no sockets in pickaxes...

fury gems effect ur accuracy, it doesnt speed up the mining process as far as i can tell..

I've ran this test with some friends of mine in the server I play in...

They've seen quicker ores/gems with my pick axes then with other forms of pick axes.

Well you don't mine so many more gems than an avarage miner, but I think it's worth a try.

I've mined roughly 12 gems in the last 2 days...
Here is my list of gems without making 3 or 4 celestrial stones (18-24 gems there)

1 Refined Drags
0 Refined Phoenixes
2 Refined Moons
2 Refined Violets
3 Refined Kylins
0 Refined Rainbows

18 Normal Dragons
6 Normal Phoenixes
22 Normal Moons
20 Normal Violets
9 Normal Kylins
13 Normal Rainbows
1 Normal Fury

*NOTE* This was all done in the last 1-1.5 months.
