While it comes as no surprise, within only hours of the open beta beginning of the highly anticipated addition to the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty WWII, has recently been hit by a wave of hackers. Having only launched three days ago, videos quickly surfaced claiming that waves of cheaters have been having their way with other players. A Reddit user under the name of "JarekBloodDragon" had shared the games first clip of a player supposedly using an aimbot.
"It's becoming more and more difficult to find a game in the WW2 open beta without there being an incredibly obvious hacker not trying to hide it," they said. "At one point I got 5 games in a row with these types of hackers, all different lobbies, all different hackers." While it still is unclear on how widespread the cheating dilemma currently is, there have been a mixture of responses. Some users claiming that the hackers are running "completely rampant" whilst other gamers are still yet to come across a cheater. Although, a simple search on YouTube will beg to differ.
