Previous releases allow you to edit/hack the items before game start...

... I noticed in the new 1.9.3 release of NSSworld offline there's no way to edit items or profile before you begin like the old versions.

Also I can't seem to find money values with cheat engine, does java do something to the server process? What process should I be looking at to find money values?

1.9.3 is a more fully-featured version. Editing the money with Cheat Engine wouldn't help as calculations are done on the server-side, naturally. The cash values are in the .xml files that the server uses.
