Improving elitepvpers

Hello, I was thinking about how to improve the forum in general & here is some suggestions to improve it.

Seed Discussions on Popular Topics

For new members, for this new members that they are already started in the forum & don't know what is going on, so if there is a monitor trending topics and the admins or moderators create threads for the most trending topics. When you start the discussion, you encourage users to jump in to leave their opinions.

Advertising Looks Like

There are a lot of users that advertising their services/games & a lot of stuffs & they care about their advertising design. If you could guys to put some wallpapers related to every section & You can write on this background like facebook & this feature would be for premium users. example,

League of legends : so there is an option to add some lol's wallpapers

Silkroad Online : so there is an option to add some silkroad online wallpapers & so on.


Elitepvpers Main Game

If your developers can work on an amazing & interesting game. It would be nice & If there is a monitor to show the top players like a rank, Actually it would encourage a lot of elitepvpers members to have some fun. They can invest some money in playing this game & This money will support you guys. & There would be some quests like you can gain 3 E*G If you have done this quest & so on, & This 3 E*G is nth at all, It is just to encourage you to discover this game more & more and to have some fun.

Infraction Role

I'm not talking about warning at all, I'm talking about infraction, Taking infraction is not a good thing at all. I know that you must get 3 infractions to get ban but it is really worse. for me, I really care about my exp level, Some moderators giving infractions for no reason or weak reason that deserve warning not an infraction so If they wanna to give an infraction so they have to apply for it & let the community managers or Global Moderators decide that If it worse or no & It will save the time so they don't have to open a thread in complaint-area. Because everything is gonna depend on the community manager.

Black Market Deleting Replies

Currently when forum replies are deleted you see a greyed out message 'This message has been deleted Reason : XXX'. If a number of replies & it can affect on the service provider, It isn't his fault if the customer does a stupid reply, But actually If it deleted without any mark, The thread would be good, Or If you can guys delete this message & the Only members Who does this replay can see it " if it is deleted " it will be ok.

Transfer the ownership of the thread creator

A lot of members wanna transfer their thread's ownership to another member, & it is actually common in the advertising sections. Someone create a server & It is closed & His friend wanna copy some sentences or paragraphs, so Instead of talking to the moderator & Asking for permission the owner of the thread can transfer the thread to this member.

it is your designer's job to make your "thread design"
using the same "backgrounds" as other servers is not something a "good" designer would do.

Infractions

i got 2 infractions what DO I DO??? SUGGEST OVERWORKING THE STAFF. yaaay
what is the complaint area is there for you say? IDK
moderators do not give infractions for "no reason"

We already have an addon which shows the latest replies? I don't see the point in adding another box which shows trending topics, since they're not interesting for every user.

Imho this is just a waste of time. Also I think it will cost too much performance to be considerable.

You are talking about saving time, but this wouldn't save any time since CMs or GMods would have to accept every infraction which would require way more work than it does right now with "just" handling complaints in the support area.

Btw. mistakes happen and if you feel miss-treated go ahead and open a support ticket in the Complaint Area.

That's why they have to back to the global moderator or the community manager..

There are over 40 section in this forum, I believe that in every section there is a trending topic..

Maybe you didn't get my point. You want every infraction to approved by CMs or GMods, right? This wouldn't save time since (I can only speculate) there are too many infractions being handed out every day which would require more work and time. In the end CMs and GMods have to spend more time in investigating the case and to decide, that's why we should trust in the work the moderators do and if a mistake happens or someone feels miss-treated, a support ticket in the Complaint Area is the best way to solve the issue.

Well, I don't think there is a trending topic in every section, but every user checks the sections he is interested in eventually. So they will see the topic anyway and if they want, they can join the discussion.

I was talking about performance. And as I said I don't see a point in adding a browser game for this forum, maybe achievements but this has already been suggested.

Anyone is welcome to create new threads. Why would a moderator have to take action here? Additionally, pretty much everyone can determine active threads when looking into a section.

We are not responsible for thread designs and writing stuff on a wallpaper is really not that difficult.

I have had a similiar idea and we will talk about something like that in a future meeting. No promises though and for sure not a top priority.

This is impossible. There are way too many rule-breaking posts and we are not taking this competence from our moderators.

Copying a few sentences can even be done without the need of a moderator. I don't really see the problem.

3) Maybe some day, but there are more important things to tackle
4) If you feel an infraction is unjustified, you can always create a support ticket. There is no point in removing an important tool for our moderators just because they sometimes make mistakes.
