Anyone know of program that highlights repeating code?

I am not even sure how to describe what I am looking for?

I spent hours today capturing and trying to reverse packets, I capture the packets output to txt, open with MS Office and use their highlighter once I found a pattern. The screen shot is an example.

This might be what you are looking for. It has a nice grammar engine that allows you to disect all kinds of binary formats. It only works on binary files ... so you need to convert your hexdump into binary again.
