Arathor Introduction:
Greetings, Silkroad Community! The community wished and therefore we proudly deliver you a new silkroad private server with oldschool appearance and some innovative features. It's the time to prepare for our newly created project. After we put a lot of effort in Arathor and completed our preparations, we decided to announce Arathor today. With Arathor we want to present a new world of Silkroad which is more enjoyable and exciting than all the others out there. We made a lot of changes in the gameplay in order to improve the gameplay and to connect our fans with Arathor. Details about the gameplay can be founded below and we hope you like those changes! Give us the pleasure and join Arathor!

Server Construction:
Building our server depends on some of the ideas that have been invented by some experts. We've made our server as oldschool gameplay with some innovative features which will make an incredible gameplay. Also, you are able to participate in building our server by giving your ideas to us and if there's something in our gameplay you don't like it, we can discuss it in our Discord server.

The Curse of the Arathor:
We are really here to offer you a long term server where you can live for a long time and spending a happy time in it. And our server quality Indicate this, so you have to give us the full confidence and supporting our server for building the best community and gaining more experts players. That's what we mean by curse of the arathor.

Expert Management:
Arathor management team consists of 3 members. Everyone of us has the full experience in his field so we assure you that we will manage our server in an innovative and clear way. For gaining your confidence, we've made a great efforts in designing and managing our server so we hope you to join and supporting us.

Arathor Purpose:
Our purpose of creating a server is that we want to give you pleasure and excitement because we are players like you. We really want to a long-term server with a lots of experts players that will help us in managing our server. A play2win server without any bugs or issues. We really hope to offer you a private silkroad server like what we want and what you want.

To be here for a long time, we've decided to test our server well for offering you a bug-free gameplay. We really need to test it well to let the players enjoy thier time in playing. And for that there will be two phases for testing our server that's for testing the new features and innovative ideas.

1. Closed beta: [16.08.2017]
   It's the first phase for testing the server. This phase will be available only for the team and some of our fans who have more experience in testing servers. In this phase we will add our new features and the new ideas that we got before from our thinking to test them well. That's only for offer you an enjoyable gameplay.
   
   
2. Beta opening: [19.08.2017]
   The second phase will be Open Beta. After finishing the closed beta phase we will start an open beta phase. This phase will be avaliable for everyone. The purpose of this phase is testing our system and the new features. Open Beta will be open for 4 days to make sure that all systems were tested to offer you a bug-free gameplay on the grand opening.
   
   
3. Grand opening: [25.08.2017]
   Our goal of making beta stages is to provide a completely bug-free, lag-free experience. Our opening date is 25.08.2017. If there is any problem and this problem grows, the date can be postponed. Arathor is coming, what are you waiting for?

Arathor Cap:
Our server cap is 100 as we think it's the best cap that we met in the history of silkroad because more people have best memories in this capacity.

Server Race:
Certainly it's Chinese and Europe. Too many only chinese servers opened. We think you're bored, so we've added Europe.

Masteries Limit:
Mastery limits will be 330/200 for giving more powerful and offering you an exciting battle.

Server Rates:

• Experience rate: [15x]

Main Town:
Our main town in Arathor will be Donwhang.

Fortresses War:
In Arathor there will be three fortresses available Hotan, Constantinople and Jangan. Hotan and Jangan will be our main fortresses where the reward will be given.

Max Plus:
The maximum for plus will be [+12] To make the server more balanced between players and living more time without more pluses.

The First 300 Player:
There's will be a good reward for the first 300 player who will compete to get to the top:

1. The first 100 player reaches level 100 will receive 200 silk.
2. The following 100 player reaches level 100 will receive 150 silk.
3. The following 100 player reaches level 100 will receive 100 silk.

Starting Items:
After creating your character, you will find everything that needed to start your adventure.

• HP Potion 1000x
• MP Potion 1000x
• Reverse Scroll 10x
• Instant Return Scroll 15x
• 100% Speed increase 10x
• Grab Pet 3days
• 500,000 Skill point
• 1,000,000 Gold

Max Stacks:
For saving your slots, we've increased the max stacks of stones, elixirs, potions etc to 1000 as max.

Permanent Buffs:
We've added permanent buffs as a very useful feature for your adventure. Also, make sure we've did this feature for all skill levels.

Guild & Union Limits:

Union Chat For All:
We completely removed the union chat limit. We believe that communication between union guilds will be higher. Now you can write freely without any restrictions!

Daily Magic POP:
We've removed Magic POP card from item mail but that's not mean we disabled it from the server thus we've got a new idea for it. You will receive a Magic POP card every day. keep in mind it's not tradable so you can't exchange it. With Magic POP card you can try ur luck on winning items such as flags and useful scrolls.

End-game Grinding Areas:

• Jangan cave | 80 ~ 99 level monsters.
• Constantinople | 95 ~ 99 level monsters.
• Samarkand | 85 ~ 95 monsters.
• Alexandria | 100 level monsters.

Skill Modification:
To offer you an enjoyable, excitement and balancing on our server, we've decided to make some adjustments that achieve that. We really want to Arathor to be something special and different from others. Read the balance down below and if there's a problem with it, you have to tell us via our Discord server chat but you have to give us a convincing reason for it.

HWID Limits:
For providing fair gameplay, we've made HWID limits. You can open two characters only per PC that's because there are many players have not many PCs or are able to log in many characters on their computer. Although you are able to use two characters you can only use one of them while jobbing.

Filter Determination:
We are always here for you. and in order to provide you an enjoyable gameplay without deceit or fraud, we've made our own filter/guard. It's a very important thing in managing the server. Our own filter restricts and delays you to prevent abusing some items and for presenting more fair gameplay.

• You can only use 1 character in capture the flag, battle arena or fortress war.
• All bots[Sbot, Mbot and others] disabled while job suit is on.
• Trace disabled while fortress war.
• You cannot use reverse scroll till you reach lvl [30].
• You cannot use global chat till you reach lvl [50].
• You cannot open a stall if you lower than lvl [64].
• Battle Arena required level [100].
• Capture the Flag required level [100].
• Exchange delay [15 seconds].
• Stall delay [10 seconds].
• Global Chatting delay [45 seconds].
• PK disabled in the server.

Automatic Grant Name:
Now we can provide the comfort to two, guild masters and guild members. It's a very useful feature for guild masters because they won't need to change their guild member's grant names every time they want. Also, it's awesome feature for guild members because they now able to change their grandnames by them themself.

How to turn this system on or off: [For Guild Masters]
Send the following commands on all chat:

• !granton - to turn it on.
• !grantoff - to turn it off.

Note: When you go to turn on this feature, your guild master has to be online.

How it works:
PM your guild master with: /grantname Arathor
Replace 'Arathor' with your grant name and done.

Arathor Currencies:
Buying and selling in Arathor will depend on 3 currencies that you have to collect them for getting last gear equipments. Those are Arathor points, Crystals and Diamonds. And don't forget gold because it is one of the most important currencies in the game as well.

Arathor Points:
The main currency in our game is Arathor points. Keep in your mind that you can't able to trade it. You can get this points from one way.

1. From jobbing:
   Depending on the difficulties, the [AP] you will get will change. Trade star status are of great importance!

• As a Trader, you will get 30[AP] per day maximum.
• As a Thief, you will get 30[AP] per day maximum.

Crystals:
It's the most important currency in Arathor because it's needed to buy Seal of Star items. Also, this currency is non-tradable so you have to farm them in one character because there's no way to trade them or getting them in any other character. The only two ways to get this currency is Capture The Flag or Battle Arena.

Diamonds:
You can get this currency only from killing uniques in Job Temple or completing daily quests from Daily Quests NPC at Donwhang. You will get a good amount from daily quest and make sure from that every quest will give a different amount of Diamonds. Also, this currency is tradable so you have a way to sell them and earning gold or silks.

Item Mall content:
The item mall is the place where donators can buy all their useful scrolls and power ups. In our item mall you will find the original silkroad items with some extras which are needed.

About Immortal & Astral:
We've changed Immortal and Astral colors to avoid cheating and for providing a play2win alchemy, we've removed Astral from our item mall and the only way to get it is defeating uniques.


Arathor Markets:

Our Bot Commands:
To make it even easier, we've added the bot system. When you will PM the system, it will answer you directly but it will answer you only when you PM [BOT]Arathor and typing the following commands:

1. /Limits - Arathor bot will inform you about the daily limits of Arathor Points [AP]. It may be the most necessary command.
2. /MyTitles - Once you send to him this command he will show you the titles that you have earned and bought before.
3. /SetTitle - Write /SetTitle titlename to [BOT]Arathor in a pm in order to change your title. You have to own the title first from Title NPC. Example: $[BOT]Arathor: /SetTitle Arathor

About SoX Items:
In Arathor there will be one types of sox items. We've did some adjustments that will achieve the balance between them and between last tier normal items. Keep in mind that the drop rate will be pretty hard because of ensuring a long-term server.

Balancing:

• Seal of Star = last tier(max 90lv) normal items +5

How to get:

1. Seal of Star Protector:
   You can get Seal of Star items by oldschool way just you have to farm 90+ monsters. Also, there's other way to get them and it is that you have a big chance in gaining them from Treasure chest.

1. Seal of Star Weapon:
   Seal of Star is the end-game gears for NOW. Sure they have more powerful than others so you have to work hard to get them. All you need to do to get them is collecting Arathor points, Crystals and Diamonds then going to Arathor Market that located in Donwhang and buying them with the required amount.

Uniques & Drops:
Defeating uniques is the most enjoyable thing at silkroad. In Arathor you will only find the original silkroad uniques such as Tiger Girl, Cerberus, Captain Ivy, Uruchi etc,. There are will be two kinds from the original uniques [STR] & [INT] for giving chances for STR players to kill uniques. Also, there are the game boss and this will be Medusa. That's the most enjoyable way.
Note: You will find every unique in the same place like oldschool.

Original uniques:
All old uniques Tiger Girl, Cerberus, Captain Ivy, Uruchi, Isyaturu, Lord Yarkan and Demon Shaitan will be in thier spawn points like Oldschool.
Drops: [2~10] Diamonds, [1~2] Immortal, [1~2] Astral, [1~5] Reverse, [1~5] Global chatting.

Medusa:
As we said before there's will be one game bosses in the server so Medusa will be the stronger boss. Also, there's will be a good reward from defeating it. Medusa will be spawned every Thursday and the defeater will get a title name as a reward. [The assassin of Medusa]
Drops: [50] Diamonds, [2] Seal of Star, [8] Immortal, [4] Astral, [10] Reverse, [10] Global chatting and [10, 100] Silk scroll.

Job temple uniques:
You will find the real fun in defeating the Job temple uniques. Don't forget that Job temple uniques edited to fit 100 cap so you will be able to defeat them but after a great fight. Also, we've added seal of star in job temple mobs at higher ratios than normal mobs. We've moved the teleportation of the job temple to our main city, Donwhang. It will be outside the safe zone so you will have to struggle to reach it. Location of teleporter is Canyon. We are sure it will be much more fun now!
Drops: [30] Diamonds, [1] Seal of Star, [3] Immortal, [3] Astral, [8] Reverse, [8] Global chatting.

Daily Quests:
We are trying to create an active community and quests are one of the most effective ways and they refresh the server even if you keep repeating it over and over. Some of them will depend on killing mobs and some of them will depend on killing enemy jobbers, more information on the quests down below. Also, there are will be more quests but in upcoming updates.

Defeat your enemies:

• You have to kill 50 player Trader, Hunter or Thief inside the job temple.

Reward: 80 Diamonds.

Hunting "mostername":

• You have to kill 500 monster [Monster NAME] inside the job temple.

Reward: 50 Diamonds.

The slayer of unique:

• You have to kill all original silkroad unqiues such as Tiger Girl, Cerberus, Captain Ivy etc,.

Reward: 50 Arathor Points.

Automatic Events:
Automatic events will be available in our game. It's almost enjoyable thing in the game. Also, this feature will help you to gain more silks without donating so we can call it play2win feature. We wrote about every automatic event down below. There are 6 automatic events available right now and there will be more but in upcoming updates.

Automatic Trivia event:
Trivia is a question and answers so we can call it a puzzle game. There will be a random question and for getting the reward, you will have to PM the Trivia bot with the right answer.
Reward: 10 silk units.

Automatic Hide & Seek event:
Hide & Seek is a very well known event and people know most hiding spots. We put over 150 point on each town so it won't be easy!
Reward: 20 silk units.

Automatic Search & Destroy event:
A princess miyene level 40 Unique will spawn somewhere and you have to be the first finder for it and killing it to get the reward.
Reward: 20 silk units.

Automatic Last Man Standing event:
We think this is one of the most fun events, are we wrong? It will be announced that the event will start in 10 minuets. You will have 5 minutes to register.
PM LMS: ''Register'' and you will get a message with successful. Let the hunger games begin!
Reward: 100 silk units.

Automatic Defeat Game Master event:
Game Master will spawn at Karakoram and you have to kill him. Last hit counts as the winning blow so anyone can join and win! It will not be easy!
Reward: 50 silk units.

Automatic Survival Arena event:

Best Arathor event. It will take place twice per day, after the notice appears all you need to do is move to survival arena (you can teleport there from Donwhang's town portal). Then you simply wear your PvP cape and start killing enemy players!
Reward: 1 Arathor Point for each kills. The top 3 players in kills will be announced and the top one will also receive a bonus silk reward.
P.S.: (We have not decided yet about rewards.)
P.S.2: Warrior Buffs (Pain, Mag / Phy Fence and Iron) and Bard Buffs (All Dance Series) is turned off during the Survival Arena.

Automatic Goblet of Fire event:

We think this is best event on Arathor. It will take place once per day, after the notice appears all you need to do is move to goblet of fire arena (you can teleport there from Donwhang's town portal). Then you simply wear your PvP cape and start killing enemy players and do not forget Goblet of Fire unique inside.
Reward: There have a silk rewards but we did not decide about reward yet. We'll add reward soon, stay tuned.

Automatic Lottery event:
One of the most useful event as it is very important for the economy. In order to participate in it you need to purchase Lottery Chests with gold. The Wolfs of Wall Street!

You can buy Lottery Bronze Ticket from Arathor Market for 100m gold.

Lottery Gold Chest:

That system is one of the most important thing in our server. We've developed our jobbing system to comply with the long-term system. Finally, You will go back again to the old days where you was feeling a pleasure. We really need to see the challenge between the jobbers and to achieve that we've made some features in our jobbing system that will force you to be an active.

Jobbing HWID limit:
It is a small change in our jobbing system and will also have a major impact on the system but you can't imagine what it will do. It will make our gameplay more fair. You are able to use only 1 character while wearing job suit per PC.

Job leveling:
The maximum job level will be 100. From level 1 to 100 you level up by getting job exp. However after reaching level 7 the only way to level up is by getting job kills, 50 job kills are equal to 1 job level. The server will have a lot of job activity so it is more fun this way.

Togui & Petra routes:
We have added two caravan routes to make job war more active and fun. Of course there are two routes for our non-guild players to have alternatives when caravaning. Togui and Petra routes will be active in Arathor.

Job temple:
We want Job Temple to be active. For this reason, we added seal of star in job temple mobs at higher ratios than normal mobs. We have modified the mobs inside the job temple to fit a cap 100 server. Job temple has also it's own uniques which will be dropping Seal of Star items with a high rate and much more useful items. We have moved the teleportation of the job temple to our main city, Donwhang. It will be outside the safe zone so you will have to struggle to reach it. Location of teleporter is Canyon. We are sure it will be much more fun now!

Military rank system:
It's a new system developed to be like Honor system. This new system will function as the military rank system so we've called it military rank system. The rank will be only from lieutenant to colonel and every rank will give you a buff that will make your character more stronger and don't forget that you will get the title of rank name too. This system will depend on your activity in our jobbing system so you have to be active to earn Military Points. Also, there are other ways to gain Military Points but the activity in jobbing is the best way to gain Military points. We hope you to like this new system.
Note: This system will reset every month.

How to gain Arathor Curse points:

1. Each Job kill will give you 2 Arathor Curse Points.
2. Each Trade will give the same amount of Arathor Points.
3. Each Fortress war kill will give you 3 Arathor Curse Points

Lieutenant: [400 Arathor Curse Point]

• 24 % Chance of obtaining berserk
• 1 % Magical dmg and absorbtion
• 4 % Movement speed
• 1 % attack rate

Captain: [800 Arathor Curse Point]

• 48 % Chance of obtaining berserk
• 2 % Magical dmg and absorbtion
• 8 % Movement speed
• 2 % attack rate

Major: [1200 Arathor Curse Point]

• 72 % Chance of obtaining berserk
• 3 % Magical dmg and absorbtion
• 12 % Movement speed
• 3 % attack rate

Lieutenant colonel: [1600 Arathor Curse Point]

• 96 % Chance of obtaining berserk
• 4 % Magical dmg and absorbtion
• 16 % Movement speed
• 4 % attack rate

Colonel: [2000 Arathor Curse Point]

• 120 % Chance of obtaining berserk
• 5 % Magical dmg and absorbtion
• 20 % Movement speed
• 5 % attack rate

For sure there will be a good reward for the players who supporting us. All know that there are a lot of servers that fail because of lacking support from players but as we said before there will be rewards to encourage players to support us. It's a really good thing because it will give the players a big chance to get silks without donating. Also, it will help getting more players so we will do our best.

Signature Event:
By using our forum signature, there will be a chance to win 50 silk units. All you need to do to win the silks is copying this code down below and putting it in your forum signature.

I may give a try, balance looks really random but I can't judge too much until beta goes. Although these shitty custom routes are already making me think twice before attempting to join the server. Features are... Ok-ish but I will wait beta to finishes.
