[Help] PEOPLE CANNOT CONNECT

Okay, i have a 5165 client and i have no idea why my friends cannot connect. Everything is set up fine. I have all the right IP addresses to my hamachi, and all the ports are correct. still not sure why it won't work.
Anyone have any ideas?

Well in your OldCODB/Config.ini
Does it have your hamachi IP there?

forget the registration page right now, i made accounts for my friends but they cannot connect to my server. say server maint/congestion for them

Try download Microsoft SQL Server 2000, that should fix it.
Then search on youtube for database fix.

But 5165 doesn't use a mysql based database.
It uses what is called a flat file database.

Yes, SQL Server will fix this connection problem.
I think its pretty obvious this isn't the problem.

@OP,
Make sure you have the right IP in the server.dat and in your source. (I'm talking about the "Hamachi IP".)

i have this problem too .. i ll try sql server :D

Dont bother downloading SQL, as ive explained a number of times, despite the fact that the config.ini file has a section for SQL, you can remove it entirely because the server never uses it ever, so your just wasting your time.

yes .. but how i make my friends to login my server ? can u tell me pls ? for weeks i keep searching it and looking over the codesc .. but i didn figure it out what is it :(
