I am using DB AiO from sedrika in sql server 2012, but I believe that is why I can not connect to my server, could I download a DB that sql server 2012?

There was a release in this post for character_str [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
Copy and paste that into your db and remove anything that isn't working and it will fix your problem
