What is a good server for you?

Hey guys!

Everytime i go in on a server in the advertising section there is allways people say this is should not be done like this and this sucks or that the GM's are there only for the money.

So as the title say , what is a good server for you ? What system? what cap ? what sox system? and so on.

NOTE: This only for pure information, to see what the silkroad community prefers NOTHING ELSE!


and one last thing: I guees that if you get / have a job you want would you work for free, without getting payed just cuz you like the job?

A clean, non edited server with a competent, multi-lingual team, and actual knowledge in exploit prevention.

A new , fresh server with the rebirth option, no lags, proper server stability, and no pay to win stuff.

Chinese only cap 90 1x :)

Here is mine:

Cap: 90 Cap
No editing , so tired of this crap , and i would prefer the old school with the old login and alchemy and XP / SP bar )
Gold rate: 1x
XP/SP rate: Low rates we talking about max 50x
Alchemy Rate: as low as posible it should be insanly hard to get +9. So x1 or lower xD
Race: Only CHN, Dont mind EU/ CHN but old school is to prefer :)
Would like a server that are pretty close to the ECSRO/ ZSZC one that were back in the day. I could go for a 105 Cap if everything else are nice :D
PK system should be active
Wanted system in jobs should be active with all kind of rewards.
In lower Caps sun should be droped from monsters and not via coins or other crap.
IP Limit: 5 or no limit at all, people say: But goldbots? But partyfarming? then i say: But thats part of silkroad?
Guild/union: No limits the samme as it was befor , no 25 or 32 players and 2-3 guild /union


About the job question: I would not work for free just cuz i like the job, so where i wanted to come with this question is that i belive every person is the samme and that we should understand that the Admins and owner of the server are feeling the samme , they want to earn some kind of gold on there work (hosting the server ) so i think we should be a bit more understanding on that.

And they are not cople of robots so giv them time to fix stuff be patient.

I am simply sro player, I see Coin system/job based, I say go tha hell

Hate the fashion among pservers producers: Sun for coins -> get x silver coins, get x gold coins, get x shitty coins to be rewarded sun item. Coin system mostly leads into monopoly by one organized group and solo players have no chance to get high-end equipment during normal time. In result we have always same nicks, and population gets lower and lower.

Suns should be dropable from normal mobs, normal spots as it was possible in Isro - with rare rate. Maybe it is a botter way. But I prefer set the bot by night and have hope for cool item than wasting hours for waiting unique, running sensless through caves and being ksed by 10 players.


Capture the flag/battle arena? Ok but if it reward 10 minutes 10k HP scroll or alchemy scroll 5%, but no coins for sun.

Coin system should get us rewarded by details(special scrolls or maybe any skin changes, like new glow, eventually silk etc) giving advantage but not basics which are sun items(weapons/armor/acc).

And yet: Coin system -> uber pr0 player changes coins for sun givin them NPC
Classic mob system -> uber pr0 player buys sun from "noob" giving HIM gold, which he can invest in HIMSELF. And at least all stays in community, stratification is not as big as in coin system.

All process to catch up the elite (in coin system) is more frustrating.

Have you ever tried a dungeon?
The dungeon is the only balance between donators and non donators, also the items obtainable from dungeon to be non tradeable, high dmg unique , so you can't go alone. MMORPG games are designed to play in group , not solo, Your thoughts made my day tho :D

Just result of adulthood. I am not psychopath gifting to PRIVATE Server 5/6+ hours per day.
As a child yet, in regular ISRO I could easily (without bot) reach 70, 80, 90lv. I could easily grind all day, all year, but now? Private Server where Admin can shut it up whenever he wants is not worth this.
It is so naive to expect that potential players entering into pserver will be engaged like it was in Isro.

I've seen in silkroad just everything. Since 80 Cap I've passed all next updates served by Joymax and finally reached 120. I've played 20+ pservers. Now, I miss "old times", but I am aware that It won't be returned.
Joining to next pserver I am really sick off making this boring repeatable stuff that I've already made thousands times in other servers to get satisfaction of really pleasant activities like PvP or FTW.

By evening, chilling after the work I want just to sit in front of screen for 2 Hours without feeling that no-lifers have riden off.
Imho "pro" is not definition for player who made 200th time of the same brainless quest for coins, but we can to differ, right pro 'brah'?

And don't get me wrong that I want to at the start get equipment SOSUN+2500. "Bot grind" server at least neutralises margin between players like me who haven't all day for gaming and ppl who can spend all day by click click click.
