TBM Rating Support

07/20/2017 21:53 Stubb♥rn#1
Hello,
So, I've been a member on this forum for a while and I was thinking to make few changes regarding the TBM Rating Support section; I checked the Suggestions & Feedback Archive and I think no one suggested anything about this, my apologies if it's a repeated thread.

So, when you enter the TBM Rating Support section you see that there are lots of people waiting to get their case solved. My idea was to create a new Rank or either arrange any rank such as moderators, global moderators etc to help this section. I think it would make the forum better and release "stress" to the members who got an unjustified negative rating.

I hope you like and consider my suggestion :)

Yes, I know that, but there are cases which last more than a month waiting for support. The section has so much queue.

I would make someone just collect the data and just do the work before they judge over each thread. Probably that would make it easier and faster to resolve the cases.
(And yeah probably a 2nd supporter wouldn't be bad at all.)

Most of the times Mai-Lin is not the bottleneck but rather the users themselfes. They accuse each other, don't provide the missing informations etc. As soon as all informations are present, actions are taken pretty quickly.

By the way: Mai-Lin is already the "filter" - Luke is the person in charge to make final decisions in that regard.

Yes, I know they delay the job so hard by accusing each other. But, wouldn't be better if there were assigned other persons to do Luke's job faster?

No, I don't think so. These decisions require the action of an administrator (especially due to all the required rights, insight into PMs etc). Means a regular mod or somebody except an Administrator is not an option.

I don't think Luke or Mai-Lins reaction speed is an issue here. As soon as a case requires an action from our side, it usually happens pretty fast. The only thing we could do is constantly remind our users what exactly is left, but that's not our issue. If the users want to resolve it quickly, come to a solution asap and notify us.

It is quite slow when Luke is asked to take over the case, I mean, someone should collect the whole data from them so he can just judge over the cases based on the collected infos.
(plis no hate)

But actually we should be happy having a support area where we can discuss these cases there.:D

This is what I meant.

Mai-Lin does that but still, people keep arguing and make the job even harder cause they get pissed off, which is normal if they get scammed.

We think that Mai-Lin does a great job and she's in most/all cases not the bottleneck as Frosttall already said. In some cases we just can't "decide" as it solely depends on the users to solve their conflict and it wouldn't help to say some "final words" about a case that is not resolved yet.

I wasn't arguing about Mai-Lin's job. The idea was the Luke got too much to handle and would be great if moderators would do his job instead to cut the "wasted" time of waiting. Anyways, if my suggestion is not reasonable correct me, please.

Moderators can't do his job as they haven't got the permissions to do that. And as already mentioned Luke is only sometimes - not always - the bottleneck but rather the users themself. I asked Luke and that's basically the reason:

Sounds like a reasonable suggestion.
