NFSW Offline; is it possible to use this method elsewhere?

Hi there :P
I'm just curious so hopefully someone can help me out. With the way that Need For Speed worked, it required online to play, but you guys managed to get around it. Would that same method be possible to use in other games to play it offline? Like for games like Destiny, or even to get access to Destiny 2? As the servers for that game haven't gone live yet but the beta still searches for them? I'm not sure if I'm making any sense here so I'll try to simplify it as much as possible. Is it possible to create a fake host on a PC (like is done in Need For Speed World Offline) and use it for a console game that requires online to actually play?

Hopefully someone can help me out.
Much love <3

The impossible is just a matter of opinion.

every game have your own way to talk with the servers, if the server is alive it's "easier" to make it happen.

If people can emulate such behemoths as World of Warcraft, I believe they can emulate anything.

I just wish somebody took care of NFS2015. I know it's a piece of crap, but as a game collector and fan of the series since its first installment, I wouldn't want to lose ability to play that game in a few years.
