I have 2000$ to invest on a p-server. So what next?

I have around 2000$ of spare money. I want to invest this to make a stable decent server.So to make a good server(vSRO 1.188), on what should i mainly invest ?

Right now i know these things are necessary.

- Domain
- web host
- Dedi server(am not sure about which host/ram/processor etc)

#Is DDoS protection really needed? If so which one should i take? Also which plan should i go for ?

#Do i need to get a good filter?Are those public one's like supermike/sroprot/navifilter good enough ?

Also can someone suggest me a good cap / race etc.

Yes, DDoS protection is a necessity and also is a filter.

Supermike is doing a good job, but there are some other guys on this forum, they can secure u nearly the same services for less money (Even if the savings do not appear great in the first moment, if u want to hold the server stable for the next 1-2 years, than u will feel the savings after some time)

Most of the coders in psro forums said supermike is not good that many of the exploits are not fixed in that. I wanted to know if we are going to invest much money on a good server, will it be enough?

Out of all of them, HyperFilter. It's the most reliable (but not the cheapest)

What features can suggest to us? Nothing, i know you want make money 2000$ to 10000$ but in this time year of 2017 Silkroad Peoples just follow the solid rules. And looking good features to play, trust me go holiday and waste money yourself, go casino better Silkroad pServer riskier than gambling =D

dude which world are you living :D 2000$ for holiday ? to the park next to my house ? :D Dude... like i said this is spare money i have. For holiday and day to day expenses am having enough money. And my plan is not to make 10k out of 2 k lol .. i want to be part of an awesome server and ofc i will be hiring the best ppl in field.

I wouldn't suggest doing it without any experience, a lot of, you could say noob developers will be pming you cause u got the money.. once you lose all of it *for nothing* you'll realize how stupid it has been.

To be honest, there are no reliable developers who work properly, everyone just wants something that works i mean as long as it works then it's fine? logic..

Most of the good developers already have their own projects, so good luck with searching. And uhm, do not waste your money and time.

i owned few of these .. was into bitcoins ..botnets and all that crap. This is spare money i have, instead of wasting it on food and drinks. I want to use it on a server.
