I won't be on for a few days...

Well today was gonna be a normal reformat to fresh'in up my system. I decided to try installing a custom XP that installs a bunch of extras and patches some XP things for better performance, well I had problems with updating windows, my whole hard drive corrupted and I've lost the past 3 years of my life pretty much. All my digital pictures, all my old web sites, all my music... everything is gone. So fucking pissed and depressed right now, but I'm working on getting everything back up and running.

hope u find some way of gettin sum stuff

damn hard thing to happen.. i once deleted 10 years worth of my dads photos.. didnt turn out well..

If the drive just corrupted and not completely died, you may be able to salvage stuff off it. There's a few apps knocking around that can attempt recovery. GetDataBack is one I've used before that managed to rescue a lot of my sh**.

nah I had no spare hard drive and to install windows again had to reformat all my partitions as a mass, how it corrupted was it reconised all the partitions as 1 unknown none-formated space. So I lost it all.

well the update is fucking up again, and this is a legit copy of XP now, WTF!

finally got gay windows update to work, installing/patching co. Then gonna try to get some music, and get all the other programs I need installed then I should be back up and running. Without all my images sadly :\

ahhh my computer feeling like my computer again, I got some good green day songs, and soon MonkeyFiles will be back up, although I still got none of the files.

EDIT: MonkeyFiles.net is back online, working on re-downloading files/re-making so I can re-host them.

n-lite is the program i use to customize my windows and rip it up
